Welcome to our cozy cabin in Nord-Aurdal, approx. 675 meters above sea level – only 8 minutes from Fagernes city center and with the forest right outside the door. Here you can enjoy the tranquility, and a short distance to both mountains, water and activities all year round. 🏡 The cabin • 88 sqm, electricity and water • 3 bedrooms – all with a double bed. 2 of them are small without storage space in the room. • Bathroom with shower cubicle • Simply equipped kitchen with stove, fridge and freezer • Cozy living room with fireplace and dining area • TV with Apple TV – connects to the Internet via mobile • Many board games for the whole family • Large, sunny terrace with barbecue • Car parking spaces just outside the cabin for easy access 🌲 Nature experiences and activities • Koltjern – short forest walk from the cabin. Swimming facilities, lean-to, fire pan and free canoe rental • Fishing: Several good fishing waters nearby, such as Lomtjedne, Strandefjorden and Neselva – trout, perch and whitefish. Common fishing licenses for over 60 waters in Valdres can be purchased digitally Winter: • 10 min to Valdres Ski Center (Skrautvål) – cross-country ski trails in top condition • 20 min to Valdres Alpine Center • 40 mins to Beitostølen • 1 h 15 min to Hemsedal Summer/Autumn: • Sandy beach and playgrounds on Lilleøya in Fagernes • Valdres Folk Museum – a short distance away • Many great hiking opportunities nearby and in the mountains • Approx. 1 h 10 min to Gjendesheim (starting point for Besseggen) 🛒 Shops and services • 8 minutes to Fagernes city center • 11 minutes to Leira – grocery store, pharmacy, sports, gas station, etc. Guest access The main cabin. The annex is not rented out. Other things to note The cabin has running water for shower, dishwashing and washing, but the water is not approved as drinking water. It is safe to use the water for brushing teeth. Guests must therefore bring their own drinking water. There is always a bottle of drinking water available for guests in the cabinet in the bathroom (it is warm so the water does not freeze) When you arrive at the cabin turn on the water pump, switch is under the microwave. When leaving turn off the water pump. We have TV hooked up to AppleTV only. If you have an Apple account, you can sign in to Apple TV with your mobile. Ps you need to share web from your mobile. Towels and bed linen must be brought or it can be rented for NOK 220, -pr person , it includes a large and a small towel. The price you pay is including cleaning. The cabin will be cleaned by a professional laundry agency after every guest.
