This apartment with natural country house atmosphere is 43 square meters and was lovingly completed in spring 2025 after our building core renovation. Quietly located in the green city border of Homburg, only about 2 km from the center and with direct public bus connection. BUILDING HISTORY: The building was originally built well before 1912. Completely gutted, modernized and energized, this heritage house has been telling its own story of experiencing in the last 125 years in Saarland since 2025. Four completely different apartments explore the historical themes; one of them is still being developed. OUR IDEA: Here I offer the apartment "WOOD". "WOOD" stands for the primal rural life like it was lived in this building over 100 years ago. For the modern living standards, however, the many historical impressions were skillfully combined with top equipment and many useful and warm details. THE STYLE: "WOOD" is a program here and indicates the peasant. You enter this heritage apartment and welcome you directly to an original coziness. Everything is designed for A COMPLETELY COMFORTABLE FEELING. The security and tranquility, which originate from rural nature and real wood, have been brought into the rooms of this WOOD apartment. Warm tones, cozy light accents, and cozy fabrics are reminiscent of Grandma's time. WHAT'S SPECIAL: In line with this, real antiques from this era invite you to try out as it used to be, for example, to write a few nice lines of letters with a real bird feather (Federkiel). Or read a Saarland novel in the rocking chair. Or to try (again) in the embroidery. Or, or, or. There is no lack of modern comfort, such as the always fresh room air thanks to modern, decentralized ventilation (not audible) or underfloor heating in the entire floor area for cold days or a large walk-in rain shower. Outside area: You park your car for free on the property or right outside your own front door. For EV drivers, a high-performance 11 kW KEBA Type 2 wallbox with your own charging card and charging cable is available for a fee. In addition to your small breakfast terrace in the front garden with organic herbs, you enter the apartment. For hot days, of course, a large umbrella and sunscreen will be ready for you. KITCHEN: Right after the wardrobe area, delimited behind birch trunks, the bright country kitchen, fully equipped with a solid wood wild countertop, awaits you. LIVING AREA: We are happy to pull out the cozy 3-seater sofa as a third comfortable bed with topper, to a lying area of 125x190cm. From the solid wood dining table and sofa, you can relax in the swiveling 44" Smart TV with your favorite Netflix series or turn on the retro design radio, including Bluetooth and USB function. Alternatively, I have also provided a few board games, badminton and different books for you. Or you can explore the beautiful surroundings with our hiking package, which is available for you. SLEEPING AREA: Quiet sleep guaranteed! The bedroom is located to the residents' cul-de-sac on the back of the house and is therefore guaranteed without traffic noise for a good night's sleep. The queen bed is cozy with several different pillows, wool blanket, a full mattress, and a topper. With its comfortable size of 160x200, there is plenty of space for two. There is plenty of space for your clothes in the original farmer's closet. Hangers are also provided. The living-dining room and bedroom can be completely darkened by an electric shutter. By the way: Here you will also find the lockable cabinet safe, the ironing board, iron, the clothes rack, vacuum cleaner and other cleaning products, should you need or go wrong. BATHS: Plenty of shelves and hangers give you space for your cosmetics. The spacious, walk-in shower area in the old tapet design with underfloor heating (cold seasons) spoils you with a retro rain shower and here you will also find a large storage space. By the way: Forgot shower or hygiene items at home? No problem. In case, here are some auxiliary kits ready for you, also a hair dryer and of course towels small and large. The entire apartment including the breakfast terrace with small lawn in the front garden is for your exclusive use. Ample free parking is available right in front of and next to the house. ELECTRIC CARS: Our publicly accessible 11kW KEBA WALLBOX Type 2 charging station is primarily available for our guests to charge their electric vehicles in our free parking spaces. Billing is always automatic between you and your contractual partner at 59 cents/kWh plus a 50-cent activation fee per charging session. Be sure to stop the charging process once the vehicle is fully charged to avoid incurring additional continuous charging costs. To refuel, you only need your contract fuel card and your own charging cable. Other things to note Your reviews are important!
