Glamping bell tent in cork forest – quiet stay
Glamping bell tent in cork forest – quiet stay
Description
An off-grid space surrounded by nature, simple and minimalist, designed for those seeking independence and tranquility. In a rural setting, dust, insects, or minor signs of the outdoors are part of the experience. From May to September, an outdoor kitchen and shared relaxation areas are available (jacuzzi pool from June). It is a space suitable for those who appreciate simplicity and contact with nature, less suitable for those seeking hotel standards. The space The glamping tent is located about 50 meters from the main house and 30 meters from the outdoor facilities, offering a good balance of proximity and privacy. It can be reached by car, making it easy to load and unload your personal belongings. Inside, you will find a simple but cozy space: a comfortable queen-size bed on wooden pallets, an armchair, and a small table. The tent is protected by a rain cover, which is effective in light to moderate rain. There is no heating, but warm duvets and blankets are provided for cooler nights. There may be some rural noises (dogs, tractors, farming activities), generally sporadic and not intrusive. Nearby, a maximum of 30-40 minutes by car on comfortable roads, there are several lakes, waterfalls, castles, where you can spend time outdoors both for those who love to spend time actively and for those who love to stay in the bathroom and rest. Every day there is a different place to visit to cool off. Guest access Easy access, 1.5km from the village with a café and minimarket. Just 500m on a dirt road, yes it has some potholes, but it's ok for all type of cars. Tours of the fields and terraces around the property can be organised, if you are interested in regenerative agriculture or water management. Other things to note The space is 100% off grid, nestled in a rural setting. This means that nature is present at all levels: you may encounter insects, spiders, or other small animals. They are not a problem; they are part of the ecosystem. If you are looking for a completely sanitized environment, this place may not be suitable. In a hyperconnected world, choosing silence, slowing down, and taking time for oneself can become an act of mindfulness. Here, you will find a simple, minimalist space that invites you to disconnect and rediscover your own rhythm. Shared spaces The outdoor kitchen, showers, restrooms, and the relaxation/spa area are shared with any other guests. Additional accommodations If requested, you can arrange: Extra mattresses in the tent rooms in the main house with private bathroom Subject to availability The Limiar project The property is part of an evolving permaculture and regeneration project (energy, water, land management, food production). A guided tour can be arranged upon request. Activities: Upon request, we can arrange sound healing sessions, Pilates, yoga, and massages. Surroundings I will be happy to recommend interesting places to visit in the surrounding area if you like. Registration details Exempt
