Log cabin in Nordingrå, the High Coast of Sweden

Welcome to our timber cottage in the heart of Höga Kusten, the High Coast of Sweden. A cosy and newly refurbished log cabin, a retreat for couples or small families seeking a peaceful getaway. Located across from our family home, the cottage overlooks two lakes and Själandsklinten mountain and it is the perfect base for outdoor adventures. From hiking and biking to fishing and kayaking, there’s no shortage of activities to enjoy. The space As you step inside, you’ll be greeted by a warm and inviting open-plan living space, complete with a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, an old kitchen sofa and a modern bathroom with a shower, WC and underfloor heating. Upstairs in the sleeping loft, you’ll find a comfortable double bed and a single bed, offering a peaceful and restful night’s sleep. Guest access The High Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is renowned for its hilly scenery with high islands, steep shores, smooth cliffs, and deep inlets - the highest land uplift in the world. Formed during the Ice Age, it is literally rising from the sea, providing a unique and stunning backdrop for your stay. If you need any equipment like bicycles and snowshoes to explore the area, you can rent it from us. Other things to note Wifi, puzzles and some games & books are available but no TV.   Cleaning is included but please put the bed linen and the towels on the sofa, wash the dishes and carry out the rubbish before departure. Dogs are always welcome. If we’re at home you can charge your car, for an extra cost, at our house, (AC 3.6kW). Closest 11 kW charging station is at Gårdsbutiken, 1,5 km from us. The cottage is situated 5 km from Nordingråvallen where there is a busstop and a supermarket. It is 14 km to the E4, a 20-25 minute drive.
