Welcome to Laurence and Benoît's home. You will stay in the countryside, in a peaceful, calm, warm and comfortable environment. The decor is vintage because we are passionate about second-hand items. The garden of the house with BBQ and garden furniture is an invitation to relax. The swimming pool is located in our private area and will be shared with our family. The banks of the Charente, the Port du Lys, its open-air café and the shops are 5 minutes away. Salignac is on the Flow Vélo route. The space Charentaise country house of 90 m2. We can accommodate 4 adults and 1 baby. It has 2 bedrooms: 1 on the ground floor and 1 upstairs. The kitchen has all the necessary equipment for cooking. Senseo coffee machine with pods and a classic coffee maker. The bathroom is equipped with a large walk-in shower, double sinks and a toilet. Baby essentials are available: 60x120cm cot, changing mat, high chair, suitable plates and glasses, small bathtub and potty. Seat ring. For children, there is a play area with toys and costumes upstairs. We provide bicycles for young and old, one of which is equipped with a baby seat. The shaded garden is in front of the house with garden furniture, a table and chairs with a parasol. A BBQ is available on request. A shared driveway runs alongside the house to access the car park and my husband's cactus greenhouse. Our swimming pool (7.30 x 4.60 m) is located behind your accommodation, in our private area, and is shared with our family. It is semi-recessed and equipped with an alarm. It is open from June to September, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. It is not heated. The water temperature varies according to the weather conditions. Children MUST be accompanied by an adult. The house is not equipped with Wi-Fi, but we can provide an office with Wi-Fi at our home. In the centre of the village, a 5-minute walk away, you will find a small supermarket with a bread and tobacco shop, as well as a hairdresser. You can also enjoy products from local producers: honey, Pineau, eggs, strawberries, vegetables, etc. We are 5 minutes from the banks of the Charente and Port du Lys, with its Guinguette, which is open from May to September and offers numerous shows, activities and food throughout the season. Self-service kayak and paddleboard rental to explore the Charente. In the village, you will find a skate park, a stadium and a children's playground, as well as a Terra Aventura course. For cyclists, Salignac is on the Cognac/Saintes route of the Flow-vélo. For motorcyclists and cyclists, we have a garage and a workshop available for any minor repairs. Salignac-sur-Charente is 10 minutes from Cognac, 20 minutes from Saintes (A10) and 45 minutes from Angoulême. The beaches are 45 minutes away in Royan and 1 hour 15 minutes away in La Rochelle.
