Located on a farm by the fjord surrounded by a park & fantastic views to the snowcapped mountains. The two rooms we let out, are separate to villa. The space Special treat for travellers with a desire for something unique and outside the mainstream tourist traps, Villa Moldegaard is fjord-Norway at its best. The villa is located within a large private park of old oaks and views over one of Norway's most beautiful fjords. The farm estate is large, with several small beaches, and there are many hiking trails one can take through the forrests and nearby mountains. The two rooms we let out, are separate from the villa with their own entrance. Our rooms are hotel-standard with en-suite bathrooms and neatly decorated with antique furniture. Cable-tv, internet, coffee and tea are provided in each room. There is also charming motel/inn near by (10 minutes walk) where breakfast, lunch and dinner can be obtained. The restaurant at Solstrand Hotel (voted Norway's best hotel in 2014 and 2015 by Travllers Choice) is about 15 minutes walk and also offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are more restaurants and cafes in the village of Os which is about 25 minutes walk, and there is a nice fjord-front promenade you can walk to get there. About 40 minutes drive south of Bergen center by car, bus number 600 will get you there and back several times an hour. Other things to note The villa is situated on the outskirts of our family farm. You have to drive through the farm park to get to the villa and if you’re lucky you’ll get to meet some of our horses or cows. The two rooms we let out do not have access to any cooking facilities.
