Unwind at our peaceful, private, eco-friendly hideaway in Bempton, East Yorkshire. Our private off-grid retreat features a beautiful bell tent, a charming 1968 VW campervan, outdoor shower & wood fired his and hers hot tubs! Enjoy starry skies & a wild sense of freedom. Just one mile from Bempton RSPB, home to puffins & only a 10-minute drive to stunning local beaches. Perfect for anyone craving a quiet break to slow down & reconnect with nature. Enjoy fresh eggs from our chickens & ducks! The space Your stay is an off grid, eco friendly, glamping retreat at the end of our 130 metre long garden. The area consists of a bell tent and our vintage 1968 VW Campervan. You will pass our home on entry and exit, but you have a private space to yourself as we only have one booking at a time. Your closest neighbours will be the sheep and horses in the field beyond the garden. There is an outdoor shower with hot running water and a composting toilet. Your bell tent has a king size bed and there is another small bed in the VW camper van. Bedding is supplied for the king size bed. There is running water for washing but it is not drinking water, bottles and thermos of fresh drinking water will be supplied for your stay. There is a solar powered USB point in the camper van for charging phones or small devices, please bring your own cable. There is also a small fridge run from the solar battery in the Campervan. There is a small gas hob available in the campervan for your use, including pans and pots. There is also a kettle, plates, cutlery and cups. The toilet is a composting toilet, we supply eco friendly, easily compostable toilet rolls. We now have a pair of hot tubs that can be booked as an extra.
