The space Enjoy direct access to the lake right outside the front door. The property is the perfect getaway for boating, water sports and fishing. Enjoy all nature has to provide! to some the reeds, weeds and "unkept" shoreline may seem like a turn off at first glance but this actually attracts an abundance of wildlife as well as protects them from predators. Enjoy the sights and sounds of ducks, geese, swans, pelicans and if your up early enough, you may get to see a blue heron or two, all looking to feed on the abundance of fish and crustaceans. Explore the nearby trails providing serene experiences amidst the natural beauty of the area. Unwind on one of the multiple deck spaces overlooking the water, or gather around the fire pit for s'mores and stargazing. Lounge in a cozy living room with comfortable seating, a fireplace, and large windows offering breathtaking views of the lake. Prepare delicious meals in the fully equipped kitchen, complete with modern appliances and all the essentials. Retreat to one of four bedrooms for a peaceful night's sleep, with comfortable beds for up to 16 guests. Guest access Pigeon Lake is located approx. 1 hour from Edmonton, 2.5 hours from Calgary and 1.25 hours from Red Deer and it is pavement to the front door! Guests will have exclusive access to the entire cabin and property, including the semi-private dock (It is shared with the neighbours). Occasionally, there may be guests staying in the suite above the garage, but plenty of notice will be provided if this is the case. Our cabin is located in a peaceful Summer Village, just outside of Mulhurst Bay. Around Pigeon Lake, you'll find amenities such as grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations and a pharmacy. Other things to note Guests are responsible for bringing their own food and beverages, as well as any personal items they may need during their stay. We kindly ask that guests respect the neighbours in the area and keep noise levels to a minimum, especially after dark. There is a fire pit and wood on site. We request guests abide by local fire restrictions during their stay. Additional Rules: Be respectful of noise levels after 11:00PM. No smoking in the house. You may smoke outside, but please keep windows and doors closed if you're in close proximity to the house. No eating or drinking in the bedrooms. All dirty dishes must be cleaned upon check-out. We ask that you rinse them, put them in the dish washer, and begin a cycle before you check-out. Please leave the house the same way you found it. Clean up your trash, and leave it in trash bags. Message us if you would like this picked up and removed during your stay. Check-in: From 4:00PM Checkout: 11:00AM Thank you in advance for following our house rules. It means the world to us ❤️ 1. Please remove your shoes at the entranceway. (No shoes inside) 2. No overnight guests that aren’t included in the booking. 3. A clean home is a happy home! Please clean your dishes before you go - If the home is left in an exceptionally messy state, we will charge $60 for every extra hour of cleaning required. 4. Want to stay longer? Please contact us. We will do our best to accommodate you, but no promises. Time is of the essence. Please stick to your check-out time to avoid a $85/hour fee for delaying our cleaning professionals. 5. Feel free to smoke outside of the home. Away from any windows, but DO NOT smoke indoors (sunroom included) or near windows it will result in a $1000 fee. Zero Tolerance Policy. 6. Please be mindful of the neighbours. Parties or excessive noise is not allowed in our home. 7. Play safe. When you book this reservation, you take full responsibility for any bumps, bruises, accidents or illnesses that occur during your stay. If you notice anything that presents a danger to yourself or anyone travelling with you, please let us know as soon as you check-in. 8. For reservations made by employer/corporate/, Main guest/employee must be present at the time of check-in and during the stay, renting it out without permission is subject to eviction immediately without refund. 9. The use of glitter for celebrations or craft projects or other uses is prohibited. 10. When you make a reservation with us, you are agreeing to all of house rules above and below. ALL RULES MUST BE READ BEFORE OCCUPANCY IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE INDIVIDUAL MAKING THE RESERVATION TO SHARE THE RULES WITH ALL GUESTS AND VISITORS(NO EXCEPTIONS & COMPLIANCE IS A CONDITION OF OCCUPANCY) GENERAL: Quiet hours 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM both inside and outside of the unit. No parties or events or extra guests without pre-approval. All Guests not on the reservation must be vacated from the unit by 11:00 PM. No shoes inside the home. No smoking inside, or near windows, this includes on the screened in patio. Breaking this rule will result in a fine of $1000. No illegal use of the Internet. Guests are all responsible for content & downloads, Internet Pay-per-view of any kind is not permitted. Any fines, damage or disruption will be the responsibility of the Guest. SAFETY: The Guest making the reservation accepts all responsibility & liability for the safety and wellbeing and actions of everyone in their party. If you are travelling with children, please ensure they are supervised at all times. No open flames of any kind indoors or on the patio. This includes; candles, in-scents, etc. The host is in no way responsible for any accidents, injuries, death, illness, or damage to the building that may occur during the stay. Any associated liability is the responsibility of the guest. IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY CALL 9-1-1. SEASONAL WINTER: Do not leave windows or doors open for any period of time during the winter. If any damages result - guests are liable for repair cost. Sidewalks: Walk-ways are maintained as soon as practical upon snowfall. Please be mindful of all Guests safety and utilize the shovel and salt if needed. Should you wish to have snow cleared, please contact us and we will have someone available asap. Be mindful of the snow melting/sliding off the roof of the home and garage, be aware when exiting the home: look up. CHILDREN: Children must be supervised at all times Although we welcome children and are exited to share the property with them, the property will not be childproof (example, this includes having cleaning supplies within reach, furnishings that are not attached to the wall etc.) PARKING: Please park on the driveway or gravel pad next to the garage, parking is not available on the road. Please be aware, the neighbors parking is not separated and ensure you leave space for them to access their driveway. GARAGE: The garage is not accessible to guests. SECURITY DEVICES: The property is equipped with a doorbell Camera: Do not cover the camera as this will result in an end to the Guests reservation. There is also a security system, instruction on how to arm and disarm will be sent to you with your check in instructions. OTHER: If items are left behind after a stay the Guest will need to arrange with the Host to collect them within 14-days of the Guests checkout date. If shipping is required, shipping costs will be arranged and paid by the guest. Refrain from accessing the electrical panel, if needed, contact host immediately Do not try to fix or troubleshoot any issues with plumbing, appliances or electrical the Host does not offer compensation in the rare event of an unforeseeable inconvenience in the property. Absolutely no temporary or permanent fixtures including tarps are to be used Do not tape or pin decorations to the walls or furnishings Do not put food or debris down the sinks, plumbing issues resulting from this will be the responsibility of the guest. REFUNDS, CANCELLATIONS, COVERAGE FOR GUESTS: The host administers the cancellation policy fairly and impartially. With that said, the Host does not offer refunds for reasons that fall outside of the cancellation policy. CLEANLINESS: The cleaning fee covers standard cleaning for a short-term stay, however any additional cleaning required would be charged to the Guest. Please be respectful of the property and the teams that help to prepare the home for Guests use. If the following was used during the stay, please ensure that it is taken care of before check-out; BBQ, additional bedding beyond a set for each bed, excessive garbage, items in the fridge, dishes are washed or loaded into the dishwasher to be washed If anything in the home was damaged or in need of maintenance please alert us ahead of departure
