The space Your retreat with history & comfort: The former sawmill from 1914 was sustainably renovated in 2024/25 with a lot of love for detail and modern technology. Original wooden beams, wooden stairs and the larch wood facade preserve the character of the house – combined with underfloor heating, private pine wood sauna, solar thermal energy and 100% green electricity. A place where history is palpable and comfort is a given. Living & relaxing: The spacious upstairs living area with open kitchen forms the heart of the house. Fireplace (wood included), cozy reading corner, KEF Hi-Fi system with turntable and a 75-inch smart TV with PlayStation create the best conditions for relaxing evenings. The high-quality kitchen with induction cooktop, microwave and lots of work space invites you to cook together. Private stone pine sauna: After a day in the mountains, your private sauna made of fragrant pine wood awaits you – exclusively for our guests. The cozy sauna for two people creates a special place of peace and relaxation, ideal after skiing, hiking or just for a relaxing evening in the chalet. In addition, cozy sauna towels can be booked on site. Sleep & retreat: Two bedrooms with solid wood beds, a sofa bed and a modern bathroom with a floor-level shower, washing machine and dryer offer high comfort. In the attic there is a third bedroom with its own bathroom and a separate study – ideal for families, friends or longer stays with a home office. Active outside & close to nature: The large, fenced garden with sun spots, gas grill and direct access to the stream invites you to linger. Hiking trails start right outside the front door. Ski slopes, cross-country ski trails and mountain bike trails can be reached in a few minutes by car. Remote work & sustainability: A desk and workspace are provided, but are located above the living room. For longer remote stays, please clarify with us beforehand.
