Medina House with panoramic terrace, sea view

Little traditional Moroccan house on 3 levels in the heights of the old medina. Housed in a tower of the ramparts, close to the tomb of the famous explorer Ibn Battuta, it overlooks the old city and dominates the bay of Tangier. Its roof terrace offers one of the most beautiful views of the town! The space Completely renovated, the house is furnished and decorated with taste in a traditionnal style! There is on the ground floor an entrance, a living room with extra bed for two people, a small kitchen, and a bathroom with walk-in shower. On the floor, a room with a double bed, another room adjoining with a bunk bed, and a second bathroom with walk-in shower. On the top floor, a very sunny terrace with outdoor kitchen, summer living room, and a wonderful panoramic view on the medina and the bay of Tangier. This character house has survived the centuries and is part of the historical heritage of the city of Tangier. Guest access The house is entirely at the disposal of the travelers. The terrace is private. Please note that our house can accommodate up to 6 people, but to ensure respect for the neighborhood, we do not accept groups of more than 4 adults. The acces of the house could be difficult for people with mobility issues. You have to climb some fairly high steps. There are also two staircases inside, one to access the first floor, another to access the terrace. The house is not suitable for young children. The windows and the terrace are not secured and can represent a danger for them. Children must always remain under the supervision of an adult. Other things to note In order to avoid any unpleasant surprises, we would like to clarify a few points: Finally, despite all the care we take to keep the house healthy and clean, it is an old house, by the sea, in a popular area. There may be humidity (especially in winter), there may be dust, there may be gulls that soil the terrace, there may be unwanted insects... It is not some negligence on our part. A housekeeper comes before each stay and cleans the house from top to bottom. These are the inconvenients of this type of house. When deciding to stay with us, you should not expect to find the services of a luxury hotel. You will nevertheless find there the charm of the old and the traditional with all the modern conveniences. We also bring to your attention that the city is likely to reduce the water flow at certain times of the year (especially in summer) and/or at certain times of the day, due to a shortage of water in the Morocco. This can cause water pressure drops in the house.
