The historic city of Norwich is just a 35 minute drive away where you can visit the Norman Cathedral and Castle, go shopping or stop for food in one of the many restaurants it has to offer. Happisburgh is home to the oldest working light in East Anglia, and the only independently run lighthouse in Great Britain.
