Home in East Meon
Description
Enjoy a peaceful stay in the heart of the South Downs National Park. Take a walk around the picturesque village, then put your feet up in your spacious room overlooking the garden. The comfy beds can be set up as a super-king or twin singles. Guests have sole use of the pretty shower room with rainfall shower. A simple breakfast is available, tea/coffee facilities in the kitchen. Dinner available at Ye Olde George, 2 minutes walk away. An additional single room is available for groups of 3. The space A beautiful flint cottage bursting with character. Built over 220 years ago, I have sensitively updated it, including an air source heat pump, cottage-style double glazing, underfloor heating and lots of insulation! As an interior designer I have enjoyed decorating my home and furnishing it with a selection of antique, vintage and modern finds. Some parts are still a work in progress - one day I'll finish painting the stairwell! On sunny days you are welcome to enjoy the pretty cottage garden - bring a bottle of wine, I'll provide the glasses, sit outside and listen to the birdsong. Guest access Guests have sole use of the shower room, along the corridor from the bedroom. Breakfast is available in the country-style kitchen with dining nook overlooking the garden. Guests are welcome to make hot drinks in the kitchen. In warmer months guests are welcome to use the patio table and chairs or sit in the garden. Other things to note I share my home with a cat who is equal parts friendly and skittish - you may never see him or he may roll over for a tummy rub. There is another room offered in the property but I only offer one at a time, so you will not be sharing with other guests. If you are a group of 3 however, I can book out both rooms for you.
