The space The villa features 4 bedrooms in total. Each bedroom is air-conditioned and thoughtfully designed with natural materials and tropical accents, featuring premium King Koil mattresses for a comfortable and restful night’s sleep. LIVING SPACES 🌿 Designed to embrace the beauty of its surroundings, Villa Kai features expansive windows and large folding doors that fill the villa with natural light while framing views of the ocean, Mount Agung and the surrounding landscape. The villa was thoughtfully designed to capture natural breezes and create a bright, airy atmosphere throughout the day. For additional comfort, the main living and dining areas can also be enclosed and air-conditioned when desired, offering flexibility while maintaining a seamless connection to the outdoors. BREAKFAST 🍳 Each morning, our team prepares a fresh family-style breakfast designed to be shared and enjoyed together in the comfort of the villa. Rather than following a fixed menu, breakfast is thoughtfully curated each day using seasonal produce and the freshest ingredients available on the island, creating a more personal and memorable breakfast experience for our guests. Complimentary tea, local Bali coffee and French press coffee are available throughout the day, while espresso-based coffee is freshly prepared during breakfast hours. KITCHEN 👨‍🍳 A well-equipped kitchen is available for guests who wish to prepare meals during their stay. The kitchen includes cookware, tableware and essential equipment for everyday cooking. Should you wish to cook at the villa, our team can assist with grocery shopping or arrange a pre-arrival fridge stocking service upon request. Grocery items and any associated shopping costs will be charged separately. SPARKLING CLEAN ✨ Daily housekeeping is included to keep the villa clean, comfortable and well maintained throughout your stay. As Villa Kai is located in a tropical environment and features both indoor and outdoor living spaces, regular housekeeping helps ensure the villa remains fresh and enjoyable for all guests. Should you prefer a different housekeeping schedule or would like additional privacy during your stay, simply let our team know and we will do our best to accommodate your preferences. LOCATION 📍 Villa Kai is located on a peaceful hilltop, offering privacy, beautiful surroundings and breathtaking sunrise views over Mount Agung. Despite its tranquil setting, the villa is conveniently located just approximately 5 minutes from Nusa Penida’s main town area, as well as two of the island’s most popular beach clubs and restaurants, Cactus Beach Club and The Chill. As the villa is surrounded by nature, there are no restaurants or cafés within walking distance. The final access road is relatively steep, which is common in many parts of Nusa Penida and may be challenging for inexperienced scooter riders. For a smooth and enjoyable stay, we recommend having a scooter, driver or other form of transportation during your visit. We are always happy to assist with arranging trusted local drivers, scooter rentals and harbour transfer ADDITIONAL SERVICES ✨ To help make your stay as enjoyable and convenient as possible, we are happy to assist with arranging additional services such as spa treatments, private chefs, grocery shopping, food delivery, transportation, island tours and other local experiences. OUR STORY 🌿 Villa Kai is more than just a holiday rental to us. Built in 2025, it is also our family home whenever we return to Bali from Germany. The name “Kai” was chosen for its special meaning to our family and its connection to the ocean, which surrounds and inspires the villa. While professionally managed by our dedicated on-site team, Villa Kai remains a very personal space for our family. We kindly ask guests to treat our staff, property and neighbours with the same courtesy and respect they would show in their own home. Guest access SERVICE & SECURITY Villa Kai is a fully serviced private villa. Guests enjoy exclusive use of all guest accommodation, living areas, pool and facilities throughout their stay. To ensure the villa remains clean, secure and well maintained, our team provides daily housekeeping, gardening, maintenance and guest assistance services. Staff are available throughout your stay to assist with any requests, including transport arrangements, activities and local recommendations. For guest comfort, assistance and property security, members of our villa team are available on-site throughout your stay and operate from separate staff quarters located separately from guest accommodation. These areas are not part of the guest space and are used exclusively for villa operations and overnight property security. Guest privacy is always respected, and staff will only access guest areas for housekeeping, maintenance, guest requests or emergency situations. Other things to note Important Notes Due to safety considerations, the villa may not be suitable for young children, as it features an unfenced 15-meter infinity pool, glass railings, and multiple levels throughout the property. Adult supervision is required at all times. ⸻ WiFi The villa is equipped with high-speed Starlink WiFi, supported by multiple access points throughout the property for strong coverage. While generally fast and reliable, speeds may occasionally vary due to island conditions. ⸻ Wildlife As with many villas in Bali, the open design may occasionally attract small wildlife such as insects or geckos. The villa is regularly treated by a professional pest control service. Geckos are common, harmless, and help keep mosquito populations low. VILLA CATS 🐈 🐈‍⬛ Villa Kai is home to two friendly rescue cats, Nugget and Nikki, who consider themselves the villa’s smallest security team. They spend most of their time exploring the gardens and surrounding grounds. While they do not stay in the guest bedrooms, they may occasionally wander through the outdoor living areas or stop by to say hello. Many guests enjoy their company, but they are equally happy spending their days relaxing outdoors. Guests who are uncomfortable around cats or have severe cat allergies should take this into consideration before booking. ⸻ Transportation We’re happy to assist with arranging transportation to ensure a smooth and stress-free arrival. The nearest port, Sampalan, is approximately a 10 minute drive from the villa. Daily speed boats operate between Bali and Nusa Penida, with journeys taking around 45 minutes to 1 hour. If you require assistance with transfers from your location in Bali to Sanur Port, our team will be happy to help arrange everything for you. ⸻ Early Check-in / Late Check-out Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request, depending on availability and existing bookings.
