Vacation home in Ariège

Welcome to our home in Ariège! Located next to Mirepoix, not far from Montségur, the Monts d'Olmes and 40 minutes from Carcassonne, our house sleeps up to 4 people in the quiet of the village. The essential comfort for a holiday in the countryside! Easy parking in front of the house. A bus stops nearby for the train station and airport :) The space Our house is an old workers' house, hence its configuration with spacious rooms and a common living space on the ground floor. Like many Ariège houses, it is a multi-storey townhouse. The main living room covers almost the entire ground floor, with a small equipped kitchen, dining area and living room. The bedrooms are about 12 square meters, the bathroom about 5 square meters, the toilets are separate. The bedrooms come with a queen bed, ideal for 2 couples or a couple with a child/teen. On request we can lend a travel cot to accommodate a toddler. The washing machine can be made available for stays longer than a week. Guest access The house has 3 floors, visitors will have the house to themselves, with access to the ground floor and 1st floor, the top floor is reserved for the owner to store personal belongings. Other things to note The village is 4 km from Mirepoix with its large market on Monday mornings and its Super U open on Sunday mornings. For events such as historical festivals or the Mima festival, it is therefore possible to get there easily while enjoying a quiet stay in the village next door. For arrivals at Pamiers station, a regional bus stops almost in front of the house (line 450, 2 euros per trip)
