Welcome to Gaia Home Retreat, a vegan guesthouse located in Alozaina, Malaga, within the majestic Sierra de las Nieves National Park - a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve — offers breathtaking hiking trails, wildlife, and beautiful landscapes. The property boasts stunning views of the surrounding mountains, distant white pueblos, the city of Málaga, and, on clear days, the sea. Please note, this is a non-smoking property throughout, inside and outside. So please only book if you can adhere to this. The space Our bright and spacious 80m² suite offers everything you need for a relaxing stay: a rustic kitchen, a modern bathroom, a cozy living room, and access to the gardens and swimming pool. Surrounded by olive, almond, orange and avocado trees, the atmosphere is peaceful and grounding — perfect for unwinding or reconnecting. Alozaina is a charming Andalusian village with whitewashed houses, historic landmarks, and traditional festivals like the Carnival of Flour. The surrounding Sierra de las Nieves National Park — a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve — offers breathtaking hiking trails, wildlife, and beautiful landscapes. Nearby white villages such as Yunquera, Monda, and Casarabonela are also well worth visiting. We know how important it is for guests to have private, uninterrupted access to the pool, so we happy to confirm that the pool is entirely for the use of our guests. Guest access Guests will access the suite through their own private entrance. The electronic gate to the farm is communal for both the owners and guests. The nearby village of Alozaina — just a 2km walk from the retreat — has a selection of local restaurants and cafés offering a variety of traditional Andalusian cuisine. Other things to note Alozaina is renowned for its annual Olive Festival, celebrating the start of the olive harvest each September. La Cala Golf Course is 29 km from the accommodation, Marina de Benalmádena is 35 km away, and Málaga Airport is 31 km from the property. Additionally, Marbella is 35 km away, Málaga city is 50 km away, Ronda is 44 km away, and the Caminito del Rey is approximately 40 km away. We have a beautiful 5 year old lady husky called Gaia and she is incredibly friendly so we would prefer that guests do not bring pets to avoid any problems. Also, we have two cats who are extremely shy. Gaia is a free spirit and guests may come into contact with her as she loves people.
