Our tiny house has a tree house character due to the elevated location and the immediately adjacent trees and is magically located on the edge of the forest. The space Welcome to our cozy tiny house in the forest – located on the edge of a small weekend house area, idyllic on the slope with wide views over the valley and the Ith mountain range - a perfect place to switch off, refuel and breathe. Our tiny house is insulated, heatable and fully equipped – ideal for shorter or longer breaks from everyday life. The lovingly designed interior creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. In the living area you will find a well-equipped kitchen, a dining table with chairs and a comfortable sofa – and a hanging chair for cozy hours. A safe staircase with handrail takes you to the sleeping loft with a 1,80 m wide bed and seating height. Two roof windows give you a fantastic view of the treetops – or at night into the stars. The modern bathroom is equipped with toilet, sink, towel heating and a spacious shower. Electricity and running water are of course available. A real highlight is the large wooden terrace – perfect for your morning coffee with panoramic views or a sunset dinner. In the natural garden, a wood-fired bath tub with a hot tub function awaits you – for relaxing hours a day or unforgettable nights under the stars. (The hot tub can be booked as an option – if you wish to use it, please read the information about the hot tub below.) Just outside the door begins an extensive forest area with several ridges – ideal for long walks or hikes. Just a few minutes away is the charming town of Bodenwerder with historic old town, cafes and summer toboggan run. The entire Weserbergland with its numerous excursion destinations isat your feet. Come and experience the magic of this place! Important to note: Hot tub (optional for a one-time fee of 40 euros): The bath tub itself must be filled and heated. Everything you need is available on site (water, lighter, wood, etc.) - it is a great mood and fun to fill and heat the tub, but plans to do so depending on the season. 3-5 hours in! In addition, we ask you to leave 40 euros for the use of the hot tub in the tiny house (but it can be used as often as desired during the stay). Please note and plan accordingly: It is not possible to heat the hot tub using the wood-burning stove on days when there is a forest fire risk of level 3 or higher. Feel free to bring bathers and bathrobe, which makes it even more pleasant! We are not on site, but live further away - questions answer our detailed manual, which is ready for you on site, incl. Operating instructions for all household appliances and instructions for heating the hot tub. In addition, we can of course be reached by mobile phone and are also happy to answer your questions in this way. The journey to the tiny house leads over a narrow winding road with some incline over a longer distance - important to note for cyclists without electric drive and therefore possibly not suitable as a lodging for a Weser bike tour! And for motorists: in oncoming traffic, alternative points must be used and the curves are difficult to see, so drive slowly! The walk in is unpaved for the last 200m and only provided with gravel. Parking is possible directly at the tiny house. The property can be reached on foot by train to Emmerthal & bus to Linse or Halle (with a short change in Bodenwerder). From the lens or hall you can climb to the house in about 45 minutes (from the lens very steep through the forest, from Halle over the road uphill). For hiking enthusiasts - with a hiking backpack as luggage - this is quite doable & attractive. I am happy to describe the path from lens on request. Information about the garden: The tiny house is on an area with limestone lawns, which is under nature conservation - so it is not a classic garden, but much of the garden consists of a wildflower meadow, which we mow with a sense twice a year. The garden furniture: On the wooden terrace with panoramic views there is a garden corner sofa with pads & seats for 4 persons and a low table. Also 2 bar stools at a high table. The kitchen window can be pushed to the side so that the dishes there can be placed directly outside on the high table. The garden furniture is welcome to be changed at will - through the trees that grow directly around the terrace, there is always plenty of shade somewhere even on very sunny days. However, there is no canopy in the rain yet. In addition, 2 very large and cozy moonchairs are available for unfolding in the garden house (as well as other folding chairs & stools), which can be used very well at the bottom of the hot tub. An electric ninja wooodfire grill is available as a grill. At the Ninja Wooodfire grill, you can fill wooden chips in a compartment on the grill at will and create a smoky barbecue aroma. The barbecue can be operated on the terrace as well as downstairs in the garden at the hot tub. The kitchen is equipped with: induction hob with 4 plates, oven, fridge with small freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, espresso cooker, French press coffee pot, milk frother, salt & pepper mill, coffee and tea. In winter, it may happen that snow makes it difficult to arrive or leave, as the road is not cleared everywhere and we cannot clear ourselves or snow - at least good winter tires are required here!
