That is why we have chosen to offer this inclusive. Convenience and comfort are our top priorities! A few years ago we bought this small French farm and in recent years we have completely renovated it while retaining beautiful old materials, but with the comfort of today. After our own home we decided to turn the old hayloft into a charming French apartment so that other people can also enjoy the French life. In the gites (approx. 70m2) we have retained as many old details as possible. For example, you enter through the authentic barn doors. On the ground floor there is a hall with storage space, bedroom with a single bed and access to the first floor. We have chosen to keep the gites as open as possible to preserve the character of the former hayloft with a modern look. On the first floor there is a sleeping area with 2x single beds and space for clothes, sleeping loft with 1x single bed accessible via separate stairs, bathroom with walk-in rain shower and separate toilet. The rear part is the living and dining area with a spacious sitting area with a cozy wood stove and of course there is also a television with Dutch channels and DVD player. An open kitchen equipped with all necessary conveniences, such as a Nespresso coffee machine, separate oven and fridge with freezer compartment. When you think of France, you naturally also think of being outside! So a beautiful and spacious balcony of almost 14m2 should of course not be missing. Located on the southwest and equipped with lounge chairs and sunbeds to enjoy the sun and a nice bottle of wine. There is also a spacious terrace at the front with lounge set. Activities The Haute Marne and the area around Bourbonne les Bains are suitable for both a sporty and relaxing holiday and have plenty to offer. The area is hilly, quiet and green, with many kilometres of hiking and cycling routes to discover and beautiful views nearby. In addition, France is of course known for its delicious food and wines. There are various restaurants and wineries to visit within a short distance. Various wine routes are also highly recommended. For culture lovers there are several villages and cities to discover, such as Bourbonne les Bains with its thermal springs, Langres known for Diderot and the historical buildings, but also Vesoul, Chaumont, Dijon, Beaune, Nancy and Troyes are within driving distance. For lovers of brocante there are also weekly brocante markets in the area to visit, these are usually on Sundays. Location The apartment is located in a small rural village about 15 minutes from the highway, so easily accessible. It is located in a street with hardly any traffic, so absolute peace. In addition, France is of course known for its delicious food and wines. There are several restaurants and 2 very good wineries to visit within a short distance.
