In the heart of the Accademia Santu Jacu, a timeless experience awaits you: a room with frescoed walls, where you can stay in a true artistic construction site, where art, spirituality and hospitality come together in a unique experience. The reservation includes a guided tour of the workshop and the permanent exhibition of sacred icons. Upon request, and after registering for a fee, it is possible to participate in courses in ancient painting techniques. The space The room of about 35 square meters consists of a single room, which includes a sleeping area, dining room, living room and space dedicated to the studio, separated by a small kitchenette and bathroom. It was originally an artisan workshop, used over the years for different types of activities. After purchasing the property, we made several changes to allow, especially students who came from outside Sardinia, to be able to take advantage of a place to stay and study, making it a welcoming and serene place. A real residence for artists and lovers of beauty and Christian spirituality. From this year we have decided to also welcome people who wish to enjoy a unique experience: that of staying in the heart of a workshop-school of ancient painting techniques and in particular of Christian Iconography. Guests can choose to attend some courses, after registration, or just to visit the workshop and experience a holiday of silence, peace and refreshment for the soul through art. The creation of the frescoes on the walls that want to recall an Italian Renaissance artistic environment is underway, to make the stay even more unique, in line with the experiences proposed by the Santu Jacu Academy. A small collection of spirituality books is available for guests to use. For those who book a course together with the accommodation, access to the relevant workshop and art school favors attendance without having to travel.
