Though rustic and uncomplicated, there is no shortage of modern conveniences alongside the simple pleasures on offer at Cavana. Cool off while practising your breaststroke in the hi-tech countercurrent swimming pool or marvel at the splendor of a Santorini sunset from the rooftop terrace as any residual tension is massaged away in the outdoor jetted tub. Sun swept terraces provide plenty of opportunities to soak up the views and reconnect with yourself and your loved ones. A clean white décor and minimalist design reflects the sun’s purity and radiance which suffuses every room, and you may want to remove your shoes before entering the Zen-like tranquility of this serene vacation home. Step straight into the open plan living space, with its cozy sitting and dining areas, and compact kitchen. A satellite TV, internet access, DVD and CD player will take care of your entertainment needs or you can gather around the dining table and plot the next day’s island adventures. Choose whether to eat out at the nearby restaurant or prepare a meal in the kitchen and enjoy it with a bottle of local wine or ouzo. The services of a cook can be arranged at extra cost. There are few distractions to keep you from total rest and relaxation at Cavana and, when you awake, your mind may be as clear as the sky in this meditative environment. Climb the ladder from the living room to appreciate the double loft bedroom and en-suite master bedroom, and prepare for a good night’s sleep. Renting a vehicle is a good idea if you plan to explore the rest of this delightful island, but if you choose to walk, you’ll find a church, restaurant, grocery store and the local town of Pygros Tallisti, all within five minutes of your villa.
