This big, simple yet comfortable room is located in an old, authentic Transylvanian house, facing the fortified church. The house has the looks of an old inn and its yard is covered in grass. House facilities: one bedroom with twin beds, private bathroom, shared yard, shared kitchen (located outside). If you are part of bigger group, you can also rent our Terrace Apartment or the Corner House, which are located in the same yard. Children aged 3-12 pay half of the price. The space This house belongs to MET, a foundation active in local heritage restoration for 20 years now. The place is administered by Experience Transylvania, a social business which involves local people and supports the local traditional lifestyle. You are going to stay right in the middle of things, in the center of a Saxon village which proudly hosts a monument part of the UNESCO world heritage. Guest access House address: 2 Nicolae Bălcescu Street, Biertan Diana, the lady taking care of the house, will come to welcome you at the house, so please so kind to call her half an hour before you arrive. Other things to note Diana, the local lady taking care of this house, can cook local meals for you, breakfast and dinner. If you fancy such an experience, please let her know one day in advance so she can prepare. We highly advice you to drink only bottled water.
