Trafalgar Gardens

Trafalgar Gardens is a group of 3 holiday cottages accommodating up to 17 guests. Trafalgar Cottage sleeps eight, The Potting Shed sleeps five and The Orangery sleeps four, with each cottage allowing up to 2 dogs. Approached along a private track, the complex of cottages is surrounded by a walled garden, now a cut flower garden. The space TRAFALGAR COTTAGE - sleeps 8 GROUND FLOOR Entrance into hallway with stairs to first floor. Snug with cuddle sofa, desk and wood burning stove. Steps down to sitting room and kitchen/diner. Sitting room with comfortable sofas, Smart TV and wood burning stove. Sliding doors opening onto terrace and garden. Dining kitchen with circular table seating eight. Built in electric oven and induction hob, integrated larder fridge and separate freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, and cafetiere. Back door opening onto enclosed paved area to the rear of the property. Utility Room with sink, washing machine, tumble dryer and cupboard space. Cloakroom with basin, WC and towel rail. Bedroom 4 with 5ft king size bed, hanging rail and dressing table. FIRST FLOOR Bedroom 2 with 5ft king size bed, wardrobe and dressing table. Bedroom 3 with 3ft twin beds, hanging rail and dressing table. Family bathroom with bath, large shower cubicle, wash basin, WC and towel rail. SECOND FLOOR Bedroom 1 with 5ft king size bed, hanging rail and window seat overlooking the walled garden. Dressing area with drawer unit and dressing table. En-suite Bathroom with bath, shower cubicle, wash basin, WC and towel rail. THE ORANGERY - sleeps 4 Entrance into hallway with doors to all rooms. Open plan living space with French doors to garden terrace with lawn beyond. Lounge area with corner sofa, Smart TV and wood burning stove. Dining area with table seating four. Kitchen with built-in electric oven and induction hob, microwave integrated fridge/freezer,  dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, kettle and cafetiere. Bedroom 1 with 6ft super-king size bed, hanging rail and dressing table. En-suite shower room with walk-in shower, wash basin, WC and towel rail. Bedroom 2 with twin 3ft beds, drawers and dressing table. Family bathroom with bath and overhead shower, wash basin, WC and towel rail. THE POTTING SHED - sleeps 5 Entrance into hallway with doors to all rooms. Open plan living space with bi-fold doors to decked terrace with picnic bench. Lounge area with corner sofa, Smart TV and wood burning stove, patio door to front garden. Dining area with table seating five. Kitchen with built-in electric oven and induction hob, microwave integrated fridge/freezer,  dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, kettle and cafetiere. Bedroom 1 with 6ft super-king size bed, hanging rail and dressing table. En-suite shower room with walk-in shower, wash basin, WC and towel rail. Bedroom 2 with 3ft single bed and bunk bed, set of drawers. Family bathroom with bath and overhead shower, wash basin, WC and towel rail. Outside: Each of the cottages have their own gardens, all with lawns and paved areas and outdoor seating options. Some of the gardens overlook the original walled garden of Trafalgar Park, which is now a cut flower garden. A footpath next to the cottage complex winds down towards the river, with peaceful walks alongside the water and through the woodland. Parking:There is private parking for plenty of cars. EV Charging This property offers electric vehicle charging via a Type 2 32amp electric vehicle charger (can be used on any car with type 2 charge socket) within the car port at the main cottage, and the parking area for the smaller cottages . Please let us know at the time of booking. Please bring your own charging cable. Other things to note Included: Bed linen and towels (guests must provide their own beach towels if required), central heating, internet and Wi-Fi. Welcome basket of locally sourced products and logs in the appropriate season. Mobile reception is generally reasonable, although please check with your provider prior to booking. Pets: Two dogs accepted in each cottage.  Must be over the age of one year old (unless agreed with the owner prior to booking). Dogs must be fully housetrained, well behaved and kept downstairs and off the furniture. Please note a £30 pet charge per dog per week applies.  Children: All ages welcome. Travel cot and highchair provided on request. Please bring own cot bedding. EV Charging: This property offers electric vehicle charging. See Parking section for more information. Bicycle Storage: Available within the car port. Please bring your own padlock. Short Breaks: Available all year round from a Friday or a Monday. Beaches: Highcliffe Beach, Avon Beach and Mudeford all within 25 miles (45 minutes by car). Local Facilities: The Wooden Spoon pub and Spinnaker Fish Bar (1.8 miles), Co-Op Food, The Borough Café and The Goat pub (2.3 miles), The Horse & Groom, Woodgreen (5 miles). Other local attractions include The New Forest Water Park (8 miles), Moors Valley Country Park (15 miles) and Paultons Park & Peppa Pig World (12 miles). Salisbury with its Cathedral, shops, cafes, bars and restaurants 7 miles.
