We are situated in the village of Chelmorton in the Peak District. We hope you have an enjoyable stay in this cosy cottage, with lots of walks from the doorstep. After a great day exploring the Peak District, sit back and relax at the cottage or take a short stroll to the local pub just up the road. Chelmorton is located 5 miles from both local towns of Buxton and Bakewell, as well as being a great base to discover all the local attractions and walks. The space The space This cosy country cottage, previously the old butchers shop of the village and then converted to a lovely one bedroom holiday cottage over 20 years ago. Bedroom Cosy double bedroom, with exposed beams. Wardrobe, bedside drawers and storage under the bed. Bathroom The bathroom space compromises of a enclosed shower, sink, toilet and small storage drawers. Kitchen Traditional cream country kitchen, has an oven, toaster, kettle and washing machine. Dining table to seat 3 plus windows seat to create as much space during your stay. Stocked with a good selection of kitchenware to meet your needs. Living room The living room has a smart T.V, electric fire, 1 arm chair and two sofas. Giving you plenty of space to relax. Outside To the outside of the property there is a two seater bench at the front of the cottage. The garden area has an outdoor wooden dining table for 2 to enjoy the outdoor space. Please not the property you are attached to no longer has any relevance to the holiday cottage, so please be mindful of this and keep to your area of the garden where the fence divides the garden space. Thank you Parking There is the option to park on the road outside the property or you can park on the driveway in the corner as shown in the pictures. Please avoid blocking the entrance of the drive. Guest access The front door of the cottage can be accessed through either of the little wooden gates, there is one from the driveway where you can park or there is gate from the pavement outside the property.
