In a charming village in the heart of the Ariège Regional Natural Park, come and recharge your batteries aboard El Barquito. In this round-shaped house in the hull of a boat, a bedroom awaits you. The house is located not far from the Voie Verte, which connects Foix to St Girons, and is the starting point for many hiking trails. The space The house is ecological: wooden frame, bio-based materials, phyto-purification, autonomous photo-voltaic power plant and dry toilets... which requires some precautions or adaptation efforts when living there (energy-efficient electrical appliances, natural maintenance and hygiene products for example). During your stay, you can use the washing machine if necessary as well as the kitchen equipment (oven, refrigerator, gas stove). It is only requested not to cook meat, fish or fried food. Guest access Guests can enjoy shared areas (kitchen, living room, bathroom, toilet) directly accessible from the bedroom. Your host occupies the rooms of the mezzanine overlooking the living room. Other things to note Pets are not allowed except for service animals. 4G is well covered by Bouygues Telecom, it is more risky with other operators. Wi-Fi is available upon request. In the center of the village, on Friday evening from 5 p.m., there is a small market of local producers (fruits and vegetables, bread, eggs, dairy products, craft beer, honey...) and on Saturday evening, Le Troquet d'Alzen organizes entertainment (concerts, film screenings, theater, games...).
