La Ferréterie – family home for 12 people

Less than 5 km from the beaches, at the end of a perfectly quiet road, the house (approx. 300 m²) was built in the 18th century by an ancestor of the family. It is surrounded by well-maintained fields, gardens, and an orchard. This peaceful home offers a relaxing stay for the whole family. Spacious and quiet, it allows you to unwind in any season. The space The house has 10 main rooms: 2 large living rooms, a kitchen (quite small) completely renovated in April 2026 (photos to follow), six bedrooms, and three bathrooms. The living room is equipped with a piano, a TV, and a foosball table. The house can comfortably accommodate 12 people. The cleaning fee per stay includes the €200 cleaning fee per rental + laundry (bed linen + bathroom linen) for 12 people at cost price from our service provider. Beach towels are not provided and must be brought by the tenant. The bath towels provided by the host may not be used for the beach. Two of the bedrooms have their own private bathroom and toilet; the other four are ideal for couples or children. The garden and orchard are cared for by a gardener once a week throughout the year. The property is not fully fenced. There are only a few cars passing by (the mail carrier and a neighboring family) per day, as we are almost at the end of a dead-end road. The house has parking for cars, a TV, Wi-Fi, a BBQ, and garden equipment. For safety reasons concerning children, we decided not to install an above-ground pool. The sea is 3 or 4 km (1.9 or 2.5 miles) away. The kitchen is small because it occupies its traditional location behind the staircase. It will be completely renovated in April 2026. The kitchen is fully equipped to meet the needs of a large household: a 5-burner stove, a 90-cm-wide oven, a microwave, 2 refrigerators, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a kettlektric kettle, and a Magimix 5200L food processor. An additional refrigerator is located in the stable adjoining the house. We encourage our guests to feel free to grill in the fireplace; it is also intended for this purpose, and the equipment is provided. All dishes are available in the built-in sideboard in the large room. A washing machine is also available for your use. Garden furniture, a set of tables and chairs for outdoor dining, and a barbecue are also available. Guest access The entire property is available from the time of your check-in (around 3:00–4:00 p.m.) until the morning of your check-out (10:00 a.m.). Once your booking is confirmed, we will send you a welcome document with detailed instructions.
