"The Nut". A 1900 two-story brick home completely renovated into two condos. In downtown Louisville. Situated on a quiet residential block and only a quick hop to great day and evening spots: Nulu, Highlands, coffee shops, the arts district. Elegant and funky blend. It's 2 blocks from UofL Hospital with easy out front parking and less than 10 minutes from the YUM and 4th Street Live. A perfect place to rest, work or use as home base for touring Louisville's sites, museums, distilleries... The space "The Nut" has been a labor of love and determination. It was originally an art and craft gallery that fell on tough times. It took us a year and a half to renovate it completely. Reclaiming its structure and it's beauty. Now it is the perfect blend of old meets new: exposed brick kitchen walls, reclaimed hardwood floors, large windows allowing for abundant light, and a private patio looking out on the back yard. The Nut comfortably sleeps a maximum of 4 guests. There is an up charge of $10 for over 2 guests. Guest access The kitchen is stocked with dishware and cooking utensils—stove, microwave, dishwasher, and frig. There is a patio and backyard for relaxing outdoors. The condo itself is accessed from the front.
