A unique villa - Golden Circle

Our detached house on Laugarvatn is 245 sq ft with four bedrooms. A short walk from the house is a small shop and the waterfront has a natural sauna and restaurants. The garden has a private hot tub, pool and glass pavilion/gazebo where the northern lights dance in the sky in winter and the morning sun in summer. Our guests love to eat in gazebo surrounded by nature. The space A charming two story villa built in the sixties where style and architecture has been preserved. The villa was designed by scholars and explorers who created a warm and unique atmosphere that has welcomed guests for decades and now our guests. On the first floor are an entrance hall, a living room with fireplace, diningroom with antique furniture, a library/office, a bedroom with double bed, toilet and a kitchen fully equipped with breakfast nook. On second floor side are 3 bedrooms, 1 with a double bed, 2 with single beds changeable to double beds, a bathroom with a shower and a TV lounge and entrance to a small balcony with a view to the lake. In the lounge is a sofabed for 2 persons. In the basement is a dressing room and an extra shower. Free WiFi Internet, TV and DVD and a washer and dryer. Outside is a gas grill. Private parking for 3 cars. The large garden (2000 sqm) surrounded with trees is a haven for relaxing and recharging batteries after an active day or to enjoy a day with friends and family. Guest access Guest access Guests have access to the entire house (minus 2 storage rooms) and in the basement is a dressing room with a shower. In the large garden are hot tub, a swimming pool and a pavilion of glass all private for our guests. There is a fence around the swimmingpool with two gates. For safety reasons, the gates must be closed when the pool is full and no one is in the house. This is for the safety of the children of our neighbors and other children in the vicinity. The swimming pool is not in use during the winter months Other things to note If guests are wearing slippery socks, they are encouraged to use slippers on the stairs and be careful to hold on to the railing.
