Farm stay in Byron

A convenient 20 minute drive to Mayo Hospital and Rochester, MN, this home sits next to a 600+ acre county park with miles of trails, a river, and a unique native zoo. The house sits on a rise in a lovely river valley surrounded by hills with great views. I love the privacy and peaceful, relaxed atmosphere. The space Split level home; not wheelchair accessible. Guest access In home: Deck, kitchen, upstairs living room, upstairs bathroom and bedrooms, trails in woods, supervised barn visits to see the goats. On Property: Meander/hike wooded trails in our backyard...over 2 miles worth that have small springs and beautiful hilltop views. Off the property: Oxbow Park 2 miles away with extensive trails to hike, picnic areas, and a small zoo to check out. Open to use of 3 season room for reading, yoga, meditation, quiet space. Sledding is available in the winter. There's an excellent hill to slide, and we're happy to make you some complimentary hot chocolate to warm up with! During your stay Can make breakfasts, host interactions with goats in barn. Other things to note Each room has a TV in it with Roku; if you prefer to stay in and relax indoors, there's plenty of viewing options. The piano upstairs is used for teaching piano lessons; would prefer that it remained unplayed during the stay. I also teach piano lessons from 3-8pm (with occasional breaks in that time frame) 7 days a week. I have a mini schnauzer named Hans, who barks with people in and out the door, but settles right in once you've made your hello.
