This peaceful home with no immediate neighbors, is a haven of peace in the heart of 32ha of farmland and wood. The main house of a farmhouse with private outbuildings, the 150 m2 house was the subject of major renovations in 2024. Consisting of 4 spacious bedrooms, a large dining-living room, a closed kitchen, 2 bathrooms, a "TV" room, it is perfect to comfortably accommodate 8 people. Great green spaces for BBQ, relaxation and games. The space Large spacious house located in a quiet area, no neighbors nearby, open views of the meadows and woods. Close to the village with all useful amenities (post office, restaurants, coffee bar, press tobacco, butcher, caterer, organic shop, bakery, supermarkets, markets on Sundays, gas stations, etc...). Access to the house is with 4 steps. On the ground floor there is a large main room consisting of a living-dining room, a closed kitchen, a TV room, a shower room and WC. Upstairs, access by stairs, there are 4 bedrooms (3 double bedrooms and one bedroom 2 single beds, new bedding for 90 and 1 queen size bed), as well as a 2nd bathroom with walk-in shower and WC. In the basement access on one level to drop off the bikes, peach rods, rain clothes, there is even a third shower. PRM: unfortunately the house is not suitable for people with disabilities. Children: It is essential that young children are under the supervision of responsible parents/adults. Stairs can be slippery. The rest of the farmhouse buildings are private and travelers do not have access to them. Guest access You have full access to the main house and outdoor areas around the house. You can also walk freely in the surrounding woods. It is forbidden to cross the fenced meadows, especially when the cows are grazing there. Other things to note Heating: Winter heating costs are charged in addition to the accommodation fee, at €36 per night. The request will be sent to you when your booking is confirmed. The radiators are connected to the boiler. You can adjust the temperature directly on each radiator. Access to the boiler is not allowed. If there is a problem, please contact us. There is also a pellet stove. The user manual is available nearby, as is a supply of pellets (you can buy an additional bag for €12/bag). It is simple to operate, but you need to be meticulous when following the start-up or shutdown steps. Linen: Linens (bedding and towels) are not provided. We ask that you bring your own linens (fitted sheet, duvet cover/flat sheet depending on the season, and 65x65 cm square pillowcase). As a reminder, the bedding consists of: 2 160 cm beds, 1 140 cm bed, 2 90 cm beds (possibility of setting up a 3rd mattress). Linens are not included in the rental. They can be provided for an additional fee for the duration of your stay: Double bed package (140/160): €15 Single bed pack (90): €10 Baby cot package: €6 Bath towel: €3 Payment is due no later than the day of your arrival. Either in person to our trusted person who will welcome you (check, cash). Either by bank transfer or Wero. A cot and highchair are provided free of charge, and there are even children's dishes. Remember to bring your dishwasher tablets, body and hand soap, and shampoo. These are not included in the rental. There is a shelter to park 3 vehicles, as well as a locked bike storage room for your equipment. Option to rent 4 bikes on site (2 adult bikes, 2 mountain bikes, 24" and 20") to explore the surrounding area, available for an additional fee. Security deposit: As part of the short-term rental of the furnished accommodation, a security deposit of €200 is required upon key handover in the form of a check. As the booking is made through the Airbnb platform, the security deposit is not collected at the time of booking. The purpose of the security deposit is to cover: damage or deterioration caused to the accommodation, furniture, equipment and facilities; loss of items or pieces of furniture; restoration costs; and additional cleaning costs made necessary if the accommodation is left in an abnormal condition. The request will be accompanied by any relevant supporting documents: dated photographs, estimates, invoices, written report. The tenant is responsible for damage caused by himself, by the people accompanying him, or by any visitor admitted to the accommodation during the rental period. The tenant undertakes to immediately report any loss or damage. In the event of refusal by the tenant or a dispute, the dispute will be handled in accordance with the Airbnb platform's Terms of Service. In the absence of an agreement, the competent courts will be those of the location of the property, in accordance with French law. Activities and leisure: This property is located 4 km from Ventadour Castle, a 12th-century medieval fortress. Many hiking trails crisscross the municipality and neighboring municipalities on "Les Chemins des Troubadours" (The Troubadours' Trails). As nature is very close to the house, walks and hikes are possible from the house. In Égletons, the 11-hectare Lake Deiro offers swimming and a supervised beach, children's play equipment, a fishing jetty... A municipal swimming pool, a media library, a cinema and an equestrian center are all leisure, sports and cultural facilities. The Millevaches Plateau, nearby, is a renowned Regional Natural Park; it offers multiple opportunities for walks in unspoiled nature. Less than 30 minutes away, the lakes of Neuvic and Marcillac offer swimming and water sports. Neuvic also has a 9-hole golf course.
