The space The house is newly built and renovated and it was completed in May 2023. The whole house looks modern and new, but with lots of charm including extra ceiling height on both floors. The whole house has a balanced ventilation system and there is heat in all floors. The house is located in a quiet street and almost at the end of a dead end road with very little traffic. The plot is over 1500 m2 so there is plenty of space for outdoor activities and plenty of parking. There is a trampoline, sandpit, swing set and football goal outside. The 1st floor consists of a hallway, kitchen, dining room, living room with TV, 1 large bedroom with workplace, bathroom with toilet, an extra separate toilet and a large terrace attached to the dining room. Board games for children and adults, as well as toys for children are available in the house. Guitar and gas grill can be used. High chair and Tripp Trapp chairs can be provided if needed. Parts of the freezer can be used if needed. The 2nd floor consists of a living room, bathroom, 4 bedrooms and a balcony attached to one of the bedrooms. In the basement there is a room of about 40m² with small goals where children can play football or floorball if the weather gets bad. We ask that only plastic balls and regular floorball balls are used. Balls and floorball sticks can be found in the basement. It is about 300 meters to Fredrikstadmarka with bathing water (3, dam, fresh water) about 600 meters from the house. The city center is within walking distance, otherwise the city's scooters go all the way up to the house. In the city center there is a free city ferry that takes you, for example, to the Old Town. It is 4-5 kilometers to the nearest bathing areas by the sea. It is 25 min by car to Vesterøy which is the first island on Hvaler and 20 min by car to Hankø. Otherwise, there are good bus connections to the mentioned places with a bus stop 5 min walk from the house. Guest access The whole house and the whole plot. Not garage and outhouse. Other things to note Guests do the dishes themselves and clean the rooms that have been in use. The vacuum cleaner is in the storage room on the ground floor. Washing mop and bucket are in the laundry room on the ground floor. Please use little soap on the floor. Cleaning supplies for bathroom and kitchen are in drawers in the rooms. Cleaning after check out can be arranged for a surcharge of NOK 2,000.
