Resterhof-Wachau - former winery

The Winzerhof is located near Spitz on the Danube, in the Wachau World Heritage Site. The house is located directly on the Danube cycle path, on the edge of an idyllic village, surrounded by wine and apricot gardens. In the main house there are 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a small living room, as well as a veranda and a well-equipped kitchen with dining area. Secluded, idyllic courtyard. The space The Resterhof was renovated by us with a lot of love for detail. We have equipped the house from 1580 with modern technology and heating, and provided the completely new sanitary facilities with underfloor heating. However, it was very important to us to gently restore the old structure and still not to do without modern comfort. The main house, about 100 m², houses 2 spacious bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a small living room, as well as a covered veranda with dining area. All living areas are on one level. In the well-equipped kitchen, there is another dining table for eight people. All bedrooms are equipped with satellite TV and Wi-Fi. The entire living area has been lovingly renovated, the antiques restored and the old ship floors reworked. All beds have been equipped with high-quality mattresses. To improve your comfort, you sleep on high-quality, sustainably produced bed linen in Austria. It was very important to us to preserve the beautiful atmosphere and charm of the old building, so the box windows, some of which are over 100 years old, were also renovated and repaired. The external staircase of the veranda leads to the idyllic courtyard, which is not visible from the outside. There is another covered spacious cozy dining area (former remise) in the courtyard. The historic courtyard fountain from the Middle Ages was uncovered during the renovation. An "outdoor" shower as well as a barbecue area should enrich your vacation with us in the Resterhof. Guest access You have two bedrooms, a bathroom, a small living room, a spacious fully equipped kitchen and a beautiful veranda on the first floor. If no other guests are rented in our loft apartment, which is located opposite in the adjacent building, the entire courtyard is also at your disposal. Other things to note The building is located directly on the Danube cycle path near the sandy Danube bank. The stop of the idyllic Wachaubahn can be reached in a few minutes' walk, as well as the Schwallenbach bus stop.
