Pele View Cottage (and Anchor Cottage, next door- scroll through Cresswell listings for details) are beautiful stone-built fisherman's cottages in Druridge Bay, Northumberland, a stone's throw from a stunning seven mile-long beach. Pele View is the perfect place for a couple or for a family holiday, sleeping up to four people in two bedrooms. There's a stunning panoramic sea view from the back, and a picturesque view of the medieval Pele Tower opposite, from the lounge and master bedroom. The space The ground floor is huge and open-plan, with slate-tiled floor, exposed stone walls, wooden beams, leather sofas and oak furniture. There is a large wood-burning stove in the living area for a cosy evening fire, and the kitchen/dining area is well-equipped and uncluttered with plenty of space around the large dining table. There is a small garden at the rear of the cottage and also a paved area on the 'Bank Top' (water's edge), with a wooden bench and large picnic table (for al fresco dining) from which to enjoy the sea view. Other things to note Due to the sharp rise in the cost of energy, there is a supplementary charge of £60 per week (or £30 per short break) for all stays from October to March to cover the increase in the cost of heating.
