Efra-Nes farm is a hidden pearl in the countryside of Iceland, surrounded with pure nature and historical sites. The private property is located near the riverbank of Þverá, one of the greatest fly fishing river in Iceland. We offer five bedrooms with king size beds and each room has stunning view over the raw nature. The space The private farmhouse is located in the western part of Iceland. The region offers a multitude of opportunities for those who want adventurous activities, culture and leisure close by. There are many highlights of activities based on personal approach. What about amazing visit to the nearby glacier, explore volcanic lava caves or take a hike of endless trails in unspoiled nature? The nearby farmland offers a personal visit to meet some local farmers for a horseback riding on the beautiful Icelandic horses, to have a taste of local organic ingredients or get in touch with friendly Icelandic live stock. The region is rich of art, crafts and culture, both museums and exhibitions dedicated to the settlement of Iceland, Vikings, volcanos, shark, war and peace etc. and of course local design and art. The surrounding region can be regarded as the setting for most of the Icelandic Viking Sagas. The landscape of the area, nature and culture reflect this heritage and bring history to life.
