Pikes Barn is a small stroll to Taunton centre, flexible self/c accommodation for professionals working in the area or a small family seeking a great base offering value for money. Ground floor - Lounge with dining area , fitted kitchen & shower room (sofa bed). Upstairs consists of an open plan area with a double bed and a single bed. A camp bed can be provided for a second child if required. WIFI Bedding & towels provided Patio with dining set & BBQ On/off road parking, No smoking/pets The space Pikes Barn is cosy and compact, has everything you need for a relaxing break whether you are a small family looking for a great base or a professional working in the area. The farmhouse dates back to c.1520, Pikes barn was a working dairy barn and was converted a few years ago to offer a flexible self catering facility within walking distance of Taunton centre. The barn is unique and traditional with original stone and brick external walls. Upstairs comprises of an open plan room with vaulted ceilings and original beams with one double bed to the left side and partial privacy on the right with one single bed, there is also a comfortable chair located near the upstairs window offering a nice quiet reading area. Guest access Guests have full use of the barn and adjoining patio. Patio table, chairs and a BBQ for guest use. Keys can be left in the key lock for guests to let themselves in our of normal hours. Other things to note We are the Ormerod family and live in the main house beside the Barn. Our lovely barn has hosted many guests, most bookings have been direct with us or referrals though organisations or previous guests.
