"The Old House"

Over the past 4 years we have restored and modernised The Old House retaining its charm while including all modern conveniences. The Old House is a single storey structure, however there are two steps leading to the bathroom and bedrooms which may not be suitable for children or people with mobility issues. The space The Old House is a single story structure with an open plan kitchen/living room. Bedroom 1 has a double bed and Bedroom 2 has twin beds. Bathroom has toilet, wash-hand basin and walk-in shower. Guest access The entire house is available to guests however we ask that guests do not go to the farmyard or fields without permission from the Host. Other things to note The Old House is situated about 500 meters down a safe private boreen just off the R678 about 5.5 km from Rathgormack village and 7.5 km from Kilsheelan village. The house is about 2km from Lough Mohra in the Comeragh Mountains with Glenpatrick Loop Walk and the Boolas Looped Walk very close by. Crottys Lake, Coumshingaun Lake, Crough Woods, Mahon Falls and The Nire Valley are just a short drive away. The Old House is situated on a working farm and my own house is nearby so either myself or my husband Declan are just a phonecall away if you need us. While The Old House is a single story structure, there are two steps up to the bedrooms and bathroom. These steps may not be suitable for young children or people with mobility issues.
