Very affordable and comfortable, our well equipped five bedroomed modern cottage offers all you need for a good seaside/country holiday. In Wrentham, but tucked well away from A12. You can walk to a takeaway, village shop, cafe and pub. Just two miles from the coast. Nearby are many pretty Suffolk villages and towns like Southwold . The enclosed garden with ample seating is ideal for toddlers or dogs. Prices are low as guests pay for fuel (at cost) and bring their own towels & bed linen. The space You enter through the side door next door to the garage into the utility room with sink and washing machine. Through the door opposite you find the kitchen -well equipped-especially for home cooking -with a dining table and chairs. From the kitchen, French doors lead to the garden with a bench table and seating . There is also a small table with chairs in the "shady corner" for those very sunny days. Into the main entrance hall and a door leads to a cloakroom on your left straight ahead. Good to know after a long journey! Then straight ahead is the lounge with seating for nine and an open fireplace. Stairs lead from the hall to the first floor with three bedrooms and a family bathroom. The master bedroom is ensuite with a super-king bed. There are two twin rooms, one of which can be made into a super king bed by linking the beds. Upstairs on the second floor there is a double bedroom, a single bedroom and a cloakroom with wc and basin. All the bedrooms are of a good size. Guest access Whole house and garden. Not garage. Other things to note Dogs We welcome two dogs because we know how much pet owners appreciate being able to holiday with their dogs. There are plenty of scenic local footpaths on which to walk and local beaches are all open to dogs, mostly without any restriction. Pet policy Please make sure that you are happy to agree to our "doggy ettiquette" rules. Guests agree to ensure that their dog :- *Is rubbed down when entering the house if he is wet and/or dirty. *Does not lie on sofas, beds or other furniture. *Is not left shut in the house or garden alone and unsupervised. *Is not able to scratch doors or damage furniture. *Is not allowed to excrete in the garden or on the green outside the house and that should an accident occur appropriate clearing up takes place. We welcome two dogs because we know how much pet owners appreciate being able to holiday with their dogs. Guests agree to ensure that:- * No dogs allowed on furniture *Dogs taken regularly to open spaces to excrete, and not encouraged to use the lawn. If accidents occur, they are cleared up promptly. *Any doggy poo bags are disposed of in public bins not the house landfill bin (which is only emptied fortnightly.) We know that as a responsible owner you will wish to ensure that there is a holding space for wet and muddy dogs. The kitchen and utility both have doors leading into the house from outside and have washable floors. Your pet is most welcome in the lounge downstairs but please don’t leave them unattended if they are in the habit of sneaking on to the sofa! Dogs are accommodated at a modest charge of £30 per week. We are pleased that the thoughtful and responsible behaviour of our guests means have not needed to impose a security deposit charge for dogs.
