Le Gîte du Bocage

The Gîte du Bocage, nestled in a green setting, awaits you for a well-deserved rest, or as a starting point for your adventures (bike, canoe...). Perfect for a family, our children will happily share their play area in the trees (ladder, zip line, swing), leaving the panoramic terrace free for the parents' BBQ. Our chickens will be happy to receive extra petting. We will be at your disposal for any information or help! The space The house is completely independent. It consists of a living room with open kitchen, bedroom and shower room. Two terraces complete this set: one in the northeast for sunny breakfasts in the company of goldfish, dragonflies and frogs, one in the northwest to enjoy the magnificent sunsets over the orchard. A completely private Jacuzzi is accessible from this 2nd terrace. Please note that from October 12, the jacuzzi will be dismantled for the winter. You can park directly in front of the cottage for added convenience. Our home is located in the same cul-de-sac, it's the only other house in the area. The buildings are oriented in such a way that the gardens dedicated to each accommodation are completely independent and without views of each other: tranquility assured! Other things to note Located at the crossroads, our gîte will allow you to enjoy large natural spaces (Parc Normandie-Maine, Suisse Normande, Parc du Perche, Ceaucé and Saint Fraimbault lakes, Loré ford...), to visit many historical sites (Tour de Bonvouloir, castles of Lassay, Bois-Thibaut, Domfront, Rânes, Carrouges, landing beaches...), to stroll through picturesque villages (Domfront, Lassay-les-Chateaux, Saint-Cénéri-le-Gérei, Mont-Saint-Michel...), to practice many sports (hiking at will, cycling at the crossroads of Vélo Francette and Véloscénie, canoeing, pedal boating, paragliding, bungee jumping, rail biking, tree climbing...). Horseback riding lovers will be delighted, the Michaudière being a must in the area! And the spa and casino of Bagnoles-de-l'Orne will offer you pleasant moments of relaxation or games. The Ceaucé market is held every Thursday morning. When you are full of green landscapes, history and thrills, you can rest in peace in our landscaped garden, enjoy the shade of the trees, lulled by the gentle murmur of the stream, and relax in our Jacuzzi. No doubt you will have a relaxing stay!
