Perfect for running your yoga retreat or bootcamp, or simply bringing family or friends together (up to 16 people) in spacious and serene surroundings. Stronachlachar is on the edge of Loch Katrine in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. You'll love our welcoming home-from-home, with its charm, style and luxury. The house and apartment have an interconnecting door and are completely self-contained, so you can move between the two properties as you please. 13 beds (+ 2 travel cots). The space The house has a very large and comfortable lounge with stunning views across Loch Katrine and the surrounding hills. With a cosy log burning stove in the fireplace, it is ideally suited for relaxing with family and friends. A 55-inch TV, free use of Netflix and a selection of DVDs and games means there is ample entertainment. There are two kitchens: one downstairs in the main house, and one on the top floor of the maisonette (apartment). The spacious and well-equipped kitchen downstairs includes a washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, microwave, large toaster, and two large fridge/freezers. The adjoining dining room comfortably accommodates 16 people. Upstairs in the apartment, the kitchen also has a table for 6, and oven, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. The apartment also has its own lounge with spectacular views across the loch. There are 3 king-size bedrooms in total, and five bedrooms with twin beds, so the total number of people we can accommodate is 16. There are also two travel cots available, as well as 2 high chairs. Parking outside the house is available for 6-7 cars. We have two picnic tables with benches for our guests. Some guests like to bring their own BBQs. We ask that you dispose of these after use. Thank you :) Access to the loch is from a small jetty (not on our land, but a little way through the trees). Swimming is at guests' own risk, and there are notices around the loch warning against swimming! Motorised craft aren't allowed on Loch Katrine. They have their own separate external entrances as well as an internal interconnecting door between the two, on the second floor. Other things to note No hen or stag parties. No loud music.
