Welcome to my comfortable home in the beautiful Northumberland village of Wylam. Enjoy beautiful river walks and cycle rides, local pubs and eateries without even getting in your car. Lots of space inside to relax, comfortable south facing lounge, separate dining/family room with wood burning stove, a large modern kitchen, utility and sunny yard. This is my family home which you can enjoy when I am away. Please message if you need a Sunday check in. It will be fine if no checkout that day. The space Welcome to my spacious, well equipped home on a quiet terrace in the beautiful Northumberland village of Wylam. This is my family home which you can use when I am away working. It was built in 1900 for railway workers and is a spacious warm home with open space and lots of trees around. Situated on Hadrian’s Wall Path, a few minutes walk to excellent pubs, restaurants and Wylam train station on Newcastle-Hexham-Carlisle line with a stop at the metro centre. There are also bus connections to Newcastle and other local towns. Downstairs you will find a sunny south facing sitting room with a smart TV, and a further family room for lounging or dining and cosy nights around the wood burning stove. This leads to the large galley kitchen which is well equipped with a Rangemaster cooker and dishwasher. This leads to a utility with a washing machine and tumble dryer at your disposal. Sunny walled yard to sit out, store your bikes etc. and a small garden at the front to enjoy the sunshine. Upstairs you have access to 1 bedroom on the first floor with a kingsize bed, and a further large bedroom with king size bed on the top floor which has an en suite, and the option of an additional single bed. The linen is all hotel quality white linen. Each bedroom has hanging space and drawers for clothes storage and spare blankets if extra warmth is needed. There is a large family bathroom on the first floor with a bath and shower, and a downstairs loo. Emergency toiletries are provided in case you forgot anything. There is gas central heating and on demand hot water. Heat can be controlled by thermostats in individual rooms. Guest access You can use all parts of the house that are not locked. The locked areas are my personal space and storage. Other things to note The house is solidly built however being a terraced house there is potential for sound to travel so please bear this in mind and keep noise down after 10pm to avoid disturbing the neighbours. Please use the parking space directly in front of the house. For any additional cars there is a car park 50 metres away with free parking.
