Welcome to our lovingly restored "Casa Methos" retreat - a charming country house on the edge of the forest, surrounded by nature and birdsong. Rustic charm meets modern comfort: with cozy seating areas, plenty of space to relax and special details. Start the day with a dip in the pool (8 x 4 m), enjoy your coffee on the terrace, hike or cycle directly into the forest and end the evening in the sauna or by the fireplace under the starry sky. This charming refuge combines rustic coziness with modern comfort and invites you to switch off, breathe deeply and enjoy. Whether alone, as a couple, with friends or family – here you will find space and peace to recharge. The house can accommodate up to 6 people and is surrounded by a spacious, over 4000 m² garden with secluded corners, old trees and plenty of space to play, relax or just be. The futon-style beds are located in the attic and in the gallery. The entire house, pool and sauna are available for your exclusive use. Start your day with a refreshing dip in the pool, enjoy your coffee on the sunny terrace and let yourself be accompanied by the gentle chirping of birds. The adjacent forest invites you to take walks, jogging laps or bike tours right from the front door – two bicycles are available. For children there are toys and balls, as well as board games for young and old, while the loungers by the pool tempt you to daydream. Local shops In our village there is a small grocery store that is 500 meters away and only has the bare essentials. A good greengrocer and a supermarket with basics are located in the next town (Répcelak) about 5 km away. We therefore recommend shopping in a larger supermarket on the way before arrival. In Répcelak there is also a coffee shop, as well as an inn and a pizzeria, where pizzas and Hungarian home cooking go hand in hand (Pizzeria Gondola).
