Moin! and welcome to the "Ankerplatz Bad Arolsen" – your accessible cozy apartment in the heart of the beautiful baroque town of Bad Arolsen! The in-law apartment with free fiber optic Wi-Fi is located in a residential building in a quiet residential area, not far from the impressive Baroque castle. It offers all you need for a comfortable stay. You park directly at the apartment for free. The space Lovingly furnished, you will find everything you need for a comfortable stay in a spacious 80-square-meter (860-square-foot) area. Here you can relax and breathe anchor! Parking and the entrance are behind the house. The parking space is right outside the apartment door and is 3.80 m wide and at least 6 m long and is therefore suitable for the disabled or disabled. Everything is completely accessible with us. The kitchen, our "galley," is fully equipped and offers a small dining area for two. “Cabin One” consists of a cozy living room with a TV and a sofa covered in cushions, which can also be converted into a bed (80 × 200 or 160 × 200) if needed, a dining area, and a bedroom with a very large closet and – new as of February 2026 – a queen-size bed (160 × 200) with a new mattress. “Cabin Two” consists of a queen-size bed (160 x 200) with a new mattress, a sitting area, a TV, a table with two chairs (for dining or working), and a large closet. The bathroom, lovingly called "flood room", is modernly designed with a walk-in walk-in shower (size 100x130cm). In all rooms, the lockable windows can be opened wide and you can enjoy privacy through practical pleats. Living room and bedroom can be darkened with curtains if needed. On arrival the beds are freshly made. In the bathroom you will find enough towels. The entire apartment is accessible with a standard rollover and is therefore very suitable for people with walking disabilities. In front of the apartment is a sitting area that is ideal in nice weather to have breakfast outside in the sun or sit together in the evening. A grill is available if needed. In the hallway you will find a cloakroom as well as numerous information materials for your stay in the charming baroque town of Bad Arolsen and the Waldecker Land. Fast fiber optic internet is available free of charge for our guests. After consultation, you can charge your electric car at our Wallbox for a fee. There is also a power outlet outside for your e-bike. The Schön Klinik, the castle, the shopping, pubs and restaurants are also within walking distance, so you can reach everything in a short time. Twistesee is also only about 4 kilometers away – perfect for a relaxing trip or a walk in the nature. In summer, a refreshing dip in the lake is worthwhile: Lake Twist is known for its clean water and excellent water quality. It is free of sewage discharges and is considered as one of the cleanest lakes in Germany. We are also happy to provide tips on further excursions and our favorite locations in the area. Bad Arolsen train station is a 25-minute walk or 5 minutes by car. We also live in the house (above) and use our garden. Mutual consideration is a matter of course for us. Three surveillance cameras monitor only the outside area and the garages for our safety. The apartment and the seating area in front of it, which belongs to the Airbnb apartment, are not monitored. A tourism fee determined by the city of Bad Arolsen must be paid on site. This is currently 2 euros per person per day. There are discounts for children and severely disabled people. You will get a spa card for this, with which you have all kinds of price advantages. Guest access The apartment is your private area. You are welcome to use the seating area outside in front of the windows of your apartment. Other things to note Before publication, some friends were allowed to "test live" in the anchorage and should write an "Airbnb review". "We felt completely comfortable in the apartment in Bad Arolsen. The kitchen is very well-equipped and equipped with stylish dishes – perfect for preparing something beautiful even on vacation. Especially pleasant was the quiet, undisturbed sleeping on a really good mattress. The rooms are cleverly used and give a generous feeling, the high-quality bathroom completes the comfort.
