Slow down, breathe it in, and stay a little longer than you planned. The space Sol & Sandstone was designed around a simple idea: that a space should feel as good as it looks. Mykonos-inspired interiors bring that to life with soft whites, warm textures, bouclé curves, and the kind of natural light that makes every room feel open and unhurried. It's the sort of place where you put your bags down and immediately feel at home. 🛋️ A cloud-like bouclé sofa, warm accent lighting, and lush indoor greenery make the living room genuinely hard to leave. The open layout flows naturally into the dining area, good for lazy mornings over coffee just as much as wine nights after a long day out. 🛏️ Each bedroom is its own quiet retreat, made up with antimicrobial bedding and mattress protectors so everything is as clean as it looks. The primary suite wraps you in deep navy tones with ambient lighting made for proper rest. The two guest rooms carry the same calm energy, just in warmer neutrals. 🍳 The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'd actually need: cookware, utensils, a Keurig, coffee pods, and the works. Real meals happen here, and guests take full advantage of it. 🧺 In-suite washer and dryer upstairs, fast WiFi, and a smart Roku TV for the evenings you want to stay in. 📍 One local tip: MacKay's Ice Cream is six minutes away. It's a Cochrane institution and completely worth the detour. Don't leave without trying it! Guest access Guests have full access to the entire home across both floors. The basement is locked as it is used for storage and is not part of the stay. For parking, you have two options: street parking directly in front of the home, or the private concrete pad accessible from the back lane. Please note that the garage and driveway beside the home belong to our neighbour and are not part of this property. Other things to note Sol & Sandstone is a semi-detached home, meaning you share one wall with a neighboring unit. You have complete privacy throughout your stay, but we do ask that quiet hours between 10pm and 8am are respected out of courtesy to those next door. Shoes off upstairs please. The upper floor has light-colored carpet throughout, and we'd hate for a stain to put a damper on anyone's stay or result in an additional cleaning fee. We welcome one pet per stay. If you're bringing a furry friend along, just let us know ahead of time. If you're expecting any deliveries during your longer stay, please give us a heads up. The community mailbox requires a key, which we're happy to arrange in advance.
