~ A place to stay in Gujo Hachiman that makes you want to live there ~

Enjoy your trip like you are living in a charming townhouse in the castle town of Gujo Hachiman, a town of water and dance. Yanagimachi, where the inn is located, was a residential area exclusively for samurai in the Middle Ages. It has also been selected as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Historic Buildings by the Japanese government, and the old townscape has been preserved. This inn also opened in the spring of 2025 under the hands of the owner, who is also an interior planner, while preserving the traditional architectural style and layout. Limited to one group. It can accommodate up to 6 people, so you can spend time with family and friends without hesitation. There are no child rates. It is not barrier-free because of its traditional construction. As a general rule, we only accept guests who are 11 years of age or older, as it may be dangerous for small children and those with mobility issues. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs, up the dresser stairs. It is a Japanese-style room with two single beds and four futons. Meals are not provided, but you can use the facilities of the inn freely. Kitchen, dining room, and toilet are on the ground floor. The shower room, washing machine, and bathtub are located in the basement down the stone stairs outside. There is also a paid service where we prepare a set of ingredients in advance. If you'd like to use it, please apply on the website after booking.
