Welcome to our newly-built two-story apartment with lake views - a modern and comfortable oasis in the heart of charming Nora. The apartment has a kitchen and dining area. Double bed and sofa bed. Fresh bathroom, bright, airy floor plan spread over two floors. Possibility to borrow bicycles, kayak, sauna and SUP. Nora – a charming wooden town with Noraglass, culture and nature. Experience cafés, bread, chocolate and cheese delicacies, bike trails and the vintage railway. Perfect for an active and relaxing stay! The space The apartment has a kitchen with stove, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, fridge with freezer compartment. Lake view with a one-minute walk to the swimming area. Quiet area with nature close by. The stairs up to the upper floor are somewhat steep, which may mean that it is difficult to walk in for small children (see picture). An additional fee will be charged if you want to book final cleaning (notify the host no later than the day before departure) 1-2 nights SEK 300. 3 nights or more SEK 500. Otherwise, you clean yourself when you leave. Other things to note Here you live in a bright and airy floor plan. It is perfect for both couples or the small group looking for a pleasant place to stay during their stay in Bergslagen's pearl. The apartment has two floors, a bathroom and hall downstairs and a large room with an open floor plan upstairs. A large lovely balcony to enjoy the sun or to eat meals on. Parking for car and private entrance. The apartment is located in beautiful Nora – one of Sweden's best-preserved wooden towns, filled with history, culture and scenic experiences. Here you can walk along cobblestone streets lined with colorful wooden houses, cozy cafés and local shops. During the summer months, guided tours are offered where you can follow in the footsteps of the detective writer Maria Lang and learn more about the city's rich history in ironmaking in Pershyttan, a well-preserved industrial memory just outside the city center. In summer, free boat trips go over to Alntorp Island with Trollstig for children, swimming and the gene bank with pear and apple trees. In winter, we have a Christmas market, winter tracks (culture) and nice cross-country tracks in Pershyttan. The nature around Nora is as inviting as the city center – here there is both tranquility and adventure for those who want to explore more. Cycling trails wind through forests and open landscapes, there is the possibility of horseback riding on nearby farms and paddle tennis or tennis is a popular feature for those interested in sports (Equipment is available to borrow). In addition, the accommodation is close to Lake Norasjön, which makes it easy to get out on the water by kayak or SUP – perfect for a sunny summer day. Nora is also a city for gourmets. Don't miss the famous Noraglass, a local favorite that attracts both young and old. For those who appreciate artisanal food, there are several producers of chocolate, bread and cheese delicacies in the area – perfect for filling the picnic basket or bringing home as tasty memories. For the nostalgic, there is Nora Veteran Railway, where you can experience a historic train ride in old steam locomotives and wagons – a popular excursion for both adults and children. Afterwards, you can settle down at one of the town's many cozy cafés for a coffee in a genuine environment.
