The Brahan

Escape to nature in a Cozy "Loft Cottage" in Camp Mountain, QLD. Perfect for couples or solo travellers, the space blends rustic warmth with modern feel and facilities. Whether you're looking to use nearby mountain bike and hiking trails, explore the hinterland, enjoy a romantic getaway with your partner or simply disconnect, this tranquil retreat is your perfect hideaway. The private outdoor fire pit is ideal for stargazing or toasting marshmallows under the night sky. The space The Brahan is a "loft style" open planned cottage with bedroom upstairs and a sunken loungeroom. There is a fully equiped kitchen, and a luxurious bathroom with tub. Selection of bespoke bathroom essentials are provided for your use. You’ll find pantry staples and a few fresh items in the fridge for your convenience. There are limited options in the local Village after hours, although there are a few delivery options. Please let us know in advance if you’d like to request special items for significant occasions: such as anniversaries. Flowers; chilled champagne etc. We will do our best to source them for an additional fee. The king size bed with luxurious linens of the highest quality will ensure a perfect nights sleep. There is a dedicated desk space for creatives who need an inspiring place to write or design. There are two table settings to enjoy a meal or board game or conversation. One indoor and one on one of the three decks. Ample fire wood is available for the outdoor fire pit. (please extinguish the fire before leaving it unattended) There is a TV with cable available, as well as a turntable and cd player with a curated selection of artists to enjoy. There is also a guitar and amplifier provided in the lounge room in case inspiration strikes. Please enquire with the hosts Jannah or Ian if you are musically inclined and would like a tour of airlockstudios which is on the premises. Airlock Studios is celebrating its 27th year, and is available for bookings. PLEASE REMEMBER TO UPDATE THE "No OF GUESTS" while you are making your booking. 1 or 2!!!!!! You’re allowed to have guests but please let us know and no additional overnight guests. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house and immediate surrounds. Please do not enter the timber walkway towards the main house, or go near the two dams that are on the property. Because access to The Brahan is via an easement past the main dwelling we ask that your comings and going are in your vehicle, and you keep your speed down, as there are children, wildlife and pets at play in the surrounds. Other things to note There are two dogs and two cats on the property. The dogs are contained in a fenced area at the main house. The cats may visit during the day but please don’t not let them in them in or feed them. The fire pit is available depending on local current regulations which can change daily due to use being in the forest. We do have chickens.
