A swimming pool, a pétanque court, a swing, a basketball hoop, and rugby posts provide fun for children (and adults too!). Located on the edge of the Landes forest, our property is the ideal starting point for beautiful walks without needing a car. Local shops (bakery, supermarket, newsagent/tobacconist, and bike rental) are just 1.5 km away. Guest access You will have access to the entire accommodation, the terrace, the pool, the garden, and the pétanque court — all just for you. We live next door, but we will hardly cross paths. Access to the upper floor is via stairs, which may be inconvenient for guests with reduced mobility and requires special attention with young children. Other things to note 🎁 Included: Internet, bed linens and towels (for weekly stays only; no pool towels), parking, kitchen towels, bath mat, salt, pepper, oil, etc. ☕ The coffee machine is a Nespresso-type pod machine, but there is also a traditional filter coffee maker. ➡️ Depending on our availability, you will have the opportunity to share in the daily life of our animals! You can observe the lives of our chickens, sheep, and dogs. For a truly immersive experience, we invite you to feed the chickens, collect fresh eggs, participate in lambing season (March to May), bottle-feed the lambs, watch the sheep shearing (weekend of May 1st), and accompany the ewes on short transhumance trips (depending on the season). Come and enjoy an authentic experience at the "Cap de Jean - le chai" gîte, where old-world charm blends with the beauty of nature and the friendly atmosphere of the farm. Excerpts from the rules: - No smoking or vaping inside. - Parties are prohibited. - Animals live on the property; please respect them. - Our cats may enter the gîte if the doors are left open. If you have allergies, please inform us when you first contact us. - For electric vehicle charging, please contact us. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed...
