Escape Berlin to a peaceful cabin in nature. This unique retreat offers 3 cozy rooms (bedroom, living room, and sunroom) and a 2,500 m² orchard with apple, pear, cherry, and more. Located in a quiet village with 5G coverage (T-Mobile) and within walking distance of two large lakes. The orchard is easily accessible by public transport from Berlin. Enjoy stargazing, birdsong, fresh air, and the orchard. This is a nonprofit initiative! All Airbnb profits are used to plant and maintain trees! The space This orchard is part of a personal environmental project aimed at planting and caring for hundreds of fruit and nut trees. Hosting guests through Airbnb helps cover the costs of new trees, gardening soil, tools, and irrigation. By staying here, you directly support this mission! Guests are kindly asked to be environmentally conscious—especially during longer stays—by helping to water the trees and treating the orchard with care. 😊 The cabin consists of three small rooms (bedroom, living room, and sunroom, all connected to one another), totaling about 27 m², plus a spacious terrace that brings the total usable area to approximately 50 m². The space can accommodate up to 6 guests using a double bed (140x200) in the bedroom, double floor sofa bed (140x200) in the sunroom, and an additional sofa bed (120x200) in the living room. Although the orchard is capable of hosting 6 individuals, this is solely recommended in warm seasons. Moreover, this is more suitable for a family with children, rather than 6 adults, especially if the adults prefer not to sleep next to one another (see the bed sizes and photographs). The recommended number of guests is 4 adults (sleeping in double beds) or a family with kids. If you wish to sleep in separate beds, please inform me at the time of booking. The modern bathroom is located in a separate building, just a few steps from the cabin. Guests are welcome to enjoy the large orchard, which includes unique outdoor features such as: 🛏️ An outdoor double bed—ideal for afternoon naps or stargazing at night A large garden swing under a hazelnut tree, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the forest view 🚨 Pets are welcome on the terrace and in the orchard. If your pet needs a bed, please bring it with you. Please mention that in your booking. Nevertheless, pets are not allowed on the sofa or on the bed, under any condition. Please bring clean blankets for your pets and help keeping the cabin clean for every nature lover! 🚨 Small children and pets should be supervised. This is a large land in the forest, and it is important that the guests show extra care for small children and pets. The orchard preserves a forest and some animals live in the land as well. It is important not to threaten those animals and also, be prepared for potential threats from the wild. The soil is mostly sand and dogs can easily dig a whole and escape the orchard to chase other animals. Please be extra careful with dogs. 🚨 Please note: no cleaning fee is included in the booking. This keeps the stay more affordable and accessible while encouraging a shared responsibility toward nature. Guests are expected to leave the cabin, terrace, and bathroom clean and in the same condition, as upon arrival. If not, a €40 cleaning fee may be requested after check-out. 🚨 This is a nonprofit project, aiming to promote nature. All AirBnB profit are used to plant and maintain trees. Please treat this place as a project to contribute to. Bring wild flowers' seeds to plant them in the orchard, and take part in taking care of the trees if you stay for a long time. Without having amazing guests, I would not have been able to plant over 100 trees in this orchard! So your help and engagement is highly appreciated. Guest access Guests have full access to the main cabin (three rooms), the detached private bathroom, and the entire orchard. While the property does not have direct lake access, several entry points to two nearby lakes are just a short walk away. Enjoy the full beauty of the orchard—relax under the trees, explore the grounds, and connect with nature throughout your stay. 🏕️🌿🌲🌳💚 Other things to note ⛽️🔥 The rental price is for the private cabin and orchard. This price includes cold and hot water as well as gas for cooking. However, it does not include the heating price. Electrical heating is generally not recommended and I use gas for heating the cabin instead. Guests who bring their gas capsules with them do not need to pay any extra fee 😊 however, for guests that do not have a car, i can provide the gas capsule at the cost of 37.5€. This is only applicable to cold months. Several outdoor and sports equipment items are available for rent during your stay, including: - A tandem stand-up paddleboard (for 2–3 people) 🏄 - An inflatable boat (for 2 people) 🚣‍♀️ - 2 bikes 🚲 - 1 cargo bike 🚲 These can be used to enjoy the nearby lakes and explore the surrounding nature. Please note that additional rental fees apply, and prior notice is required for preparation and availability. 🚨 Campfires are not allowed due to the high risk of forest fire. However, a grill is provided as a safe alternative for outdoor cooking. Using the grill is also depend on the regional regulations, that may change in a period of drought and very high risk of forest fire. Guests are asked to act responsibly and do not leave any candle 🕯️ or fire 🔥 unattended. Guests are kindly requested to avoid using candles. 🙏 🚨 Guests are expected to respect the silence of the village. No big parties, no fireworks, no campfires and music instruments without prior permission. The neighbors and the animals — especially horses — in this living area demand high care and quietness. The guests are expected to be mindful of this and cooperate to avoid disturbing the peace of the village. 🚨 Guests that are staying for several days are kindly asked to help watering the trees. A general instructions will be provided in this regard. By following these rules, guests help protect the environment and ensure a safe and pleasant experience for everyone.
