Charming, sun-drenched home in the heart of Dedoplistskaro. This spacious two-story house offers two balconies and a peaceful garden with fruit trees and grapevines. The space Dedoplistskaro (literal meaning: queen's spring), a town in Kakheti, Georgia, is situated in Shiraki Plain, eastern Georgia, and functions as a municipality of the eponymous district. Located 130 km away from Tbilis (approx. 2 hr by car), Dedoplistskaro is 800 m (2,600 ft) above the sea level. The house has a great location as it is in the center of the town. It only takes 5-10 minutes to get to nearby places such as supermarkets, restaurant, the town even has a market with local fresh vegetables, fruit, meat, dairy products, etc. It is noteworthy, that prices are very accessible. The house itself, even though it’s located in the center, is very quiet and cozy. You can enjoy the birds chirping and the fresh air. It has two access roads, one from musical school, small street 9 Dzma Str. N10, and second from Shiraki Str., N10, near railway station. The house is quite big, has two floors and a garden with various fruit trees and grapes as well. There is a bathroom, toilet, storeroom, garage and a recreation room with fireplace on the first floor. Guests have access to a fully equipped bathroom. As for the second floor, it has two entrances since the balcony is approximately 30 meters long. House has three bedrooms, with two single beds in each room, one big living room, one dining room with cable TV and a kitchen. Guests staying at this house have access to a fully equipped kitchen. Guest access Dedoplistkaro has a lot to offer: Vashlovani Protected Areas is distinguished with numerous historic and cultural monuments, such as: St. Elias Church (V-VIth century); Khornabuji City-Fortress dated V th century in Dedoplistskaro (; Dedoplistskaro Cave Complex, the domed Church of the Ascention (X c.) near village Ozaani; remains of 5 thousand years old Kambisena archaeological monument; archaeological centre in village Tavtskaro and Pirosmani Museum in village Mirzaani (where many works by Pirosmani ar exhibited); Bodbe and Khirsa Monasteries (Sighnaghi Municipality). The listed places are easily accessible, paths are marked and well-arranged. For more details please find below the brief information about some places listed above: - Khornabuji City-Fortress dated V th century is located 4 km north from Dedoplistkaro Municipality Centre on steep limestone rocks. It only takes 15 minutes to travel from municipality centre to the city-fortress by car. It is possible to hike up the fortress on foot. - St. Elias Church (V-VI th century) on Mount Elias is located 3 km to the south from Dedoplistskaro Municipality centre, on limestone rock of Mount Elias. Travel from municipality centre to Mount Elias takes 10 minutes. It is possible to walk up to the church, which is built in the middle of the rock at a height of 60 m. In favor of St. Elia on August 2 is a celebration, referred to as “Eliaoba”. - The unique Complex of Bodbe Convent (Vth century) - where the relics of St. Nino lie at St. George Church (is fully decorated with frescoes). The convent is located 30 km to the north-west of Dedoplistskaro Municipality centre, on the eastern edge of Gombori ridge. Travel from municipality centre to the convent takes approximately 40 minutes. - Niko Pirosmanashvili State Museum in village Mirzaani (museum is a home to original works by famous painter Niko Pirosmani). The museum is 25 km to the north-west from Dedoplistskaro Municipality centre. Travel by car takes approximately 30 minutes. Autumn in Kakheti offers many adventures since it is a season of the year when the grapes are collected. In Kakheti this process is referred to as “Rtveli”.
