The Byre - stone studio space, Talmine NC500/Beach

The Byre is a unique studio converted from a barn and is perfect for a peaceful break or romantic getaway! A comfortable hotel quality double mattress in self catering accommodation with stunning views of the sea and islands and within easy walk of a shop and beaches. A small but well equipped kitchenette with microwave, induction hob and small oven. Plenty of hot water. A woodburner and 2 heaters. Dogs welcome but 2 max due to restricted space. Great location as a base to explore. The space BED - We provide hotel quality polycotton bedding on the double bed with a luxury hotel quality mattress and towels for 2 guests. CHILDREN - This property is not suitable for small children but we can provide a travel cot if visiting with a baby. KITCHEN - The Kitchen is small but very well equipped with a microwave, induction hob and small oven. Washing up liquid, cleaning products, foil, tea towels, coffee and teabags are provided. WOOD - We provide firelighters, matches, kindling, coal and logs. Should you need more during your stay it is all available at the local shop around the corner. The woodburner is cleaned and ready for you to start your fire. You may be a dab hand at using a woodburner but if not there are some instructions/advice handy. WIFI & MOBILES - WiFi is available in the property. Mobile reception is usually ok (depending on your network provider). There is a TV with freeview box and a selection of DVDs. There is no radio in the property. ACCESSIBILITY - The property is all on 1 level except for 2 outdoor steps so might be convenient for guests with limited mobility but not for wheelchairs. DOGS - The property is dog friendly but with a maximum of 2 allowed due to restricted space. There is a securely fenced garden and off road parking. We do not charge extra for pets but an extra charge will be applied if excess mess/hair from pets creates additional cleaning. Guest access There is a small fenced garden around the property along with a picnic bench to enjoy the stunning views of the sea and islands. Vehicles can be parked just outside the gate - so unpacking is easy! But please be aware that the Scottish weather can make the path and parking area muddy! Other things to note This is a very quiet and peaceful property. Well behaved dogs are very welcome although 2 maximum due to the restricted space -we even provide treats for them! Dog poop bags are also available so please clean up after your dog in the garden area. Please do not let animals on any of the furniture. We do not charge an additional cleaning fee for pets however we will charge if additional cleaning is required after your stay.
