Cabin in Björkö

Welcome to our archipelago cottage on Björkö! We warmly welcome you to our newly built archipelago cottage on charming Björkö in Gothenburg's northern archipelago. The cottage is built with great care in genuine old style, which gives it a unique charm and solid feel. Enjoy the nice glass veranda, or relax on the patio with evening sun. With proximity to the sea, you can easily take a refreshing swim. We look forward to you having a wonderful stay! The space Welcome to our cottage of 37 sqm. It has one bedroom, one bathroom and one combined living room/kitchen which includes a kitchen sofa. The cottage also has a bright glass veranda. At the back of the cabin you will find a patio with evening sun, where there is the possibility to barbeque. The bedroom is equipped with a 160 cm bed and a wardrobe. From the master bedroom there is direct exit to the patio area. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, oven and fridge with freezer. In the kitchen area there is also a kitchen sofa that can be used as an extra bed (70 cm wide). On the porch there are seating areas with room for about 5 people. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. If you need to use a washing machine, please contact the host. You bring your own sheets and towels. However, it is available to rent for SEK 100/set. Guest access Parking: Parking is available at the front of the house, next to the gravel road. Host will meet up upon arrival to show where to park. Getting around on the island and activities: The island is easy to explore by both car and bike. For those who like to stay active, there are several jogging trails that are suitable for both hiking and mountain biking. The ferry station is 3 km from the property: The ferry to the mainland runs two times an hour during the day, with reduced traffic during the night. Service and amusements on the island: Within about 10 minutes walk from the property you will find the port there are: Restaurants: Seaside (restaurant), a pizzeria and a fish shop with service. Pub: A pub that serves local brewed beers. Shops: A well-stocked grocery store and a ship trade with a wide assortment of, among other things, clothes, toys, and boat accessories. Bathing areas: There are several swimming areas on the island. The closest one is about 500 meters from the property. Other things to note You bring sheets and towels yourself.
