Miramar Beach is 2 miles north of downtown Half Moon Bay. The house is 3 blocks from the beach and the Coastal Bike and Hiking Trail. There are a few restaurants and cafes within walking distance. San Francisco is 45 minutes away. SFO is 35 minutes away. Bus stop is a block away. This is a private one bedroom apartment with a lovely, spotless fully equipped kitchen with granite countertop that is part of the living room with a gas fireplace heater. One bathroom with tiled shower. There is a full size refrigerator and gas stove, microwave, and an apartment size dishwasher for clean up. Many ways to brew coffee. Coffee, tea, sugar, honey provided for your stay! Spices and oils avail for cooking. Brita system for filtered water. Portable oil filled radiator style heater in the bedroom, gas fireplace heater for living room and kitchen. There is counter top seating for working and a dining room table and chairs. There is a rolling desk for working also. You have your own locked patio door entrance from the back of the house. The place is decorated with Donny's original acrylic on canvas impressionist and abstract paintings which change frequently. We have good wifi for working, and a patio out back for morning coffee or relaxing with our garden view. BTW IF YOU BOOK 31 DAYS OR LONGER YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO PAY THE OCCUPANCY TAXES, WHICH AIRBNB COLLECT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF HALF MOON BAY. This is a private one bedroom apartment, your private entry is accessible via a gravel pathway to the back yard. There is a locking sliding glass patio door. The bathroom has a tiled shower, toilet and sink. Towels, and linens, shampoo, conditioner, liquid body wash, hair dryer provided. I will provide coffee and teas, sugar and honey a few other condiments and spices available. Parking is available in the driveway, usually on the left hand side. You will share the driveway with us or the renter upstairs. We may be upstairs or have other guests staying, I am very pleased to share information about the coast and happy to answer questions ! WiFi instructions provided on the fireplace mantel as are instructions of how to operate the fireplace heater, easy just turn on the thermostat on the right side of the fireplace and then turn the blower on in the compartment below the fireplace. You may text us if you have any questions! Rent for at least 31 days and you save the Transient Occupational tax. Miramar Beach is two miles north of the downtown area of Half Moon Bay. Miramar is known as the "Banana Belt" of the coast. Being on the inner most inland point of the bay, gives it wonderful sunny weather (not always) but if there is sun to be had on the coast it will be here! There are several different kinds of Palm trees in the back yard as well as fig, pear, apple and persimmon. We have chickens running around in the backyard. We are three blocks from the beach and the Coastal Biking and Hiking trail! You can bike or hike or take the bus. South trails takes you to historic downtown Half Moon Bay, Grocery stores, restaurants, north trails go along the ocean toward Surfer’s Beach, Pillar Point Harbor, Half Moon Bay Airport, Mavericks, and the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve, and Devil's Slide Trail (2 to 6 miles away!) There are several restaurants nearby, no more than a 15 min. walk: The Barn, Miramar Beach Inn, Via Uno, Asian King. A 30 min walk or 5 min. drive will take you to the harbor area with at least 10 more restaurants! We have 3 cute chickens running around in back, behind secondary fence. You can cook at home in the kitchen, we have a lovely Coastside Farmers Market open from May to Dec. on Saturday mornings from 9am to 1pm. Ano Nuevo, ( Elephant seals) Fitzgerald Marine Reserve, Butano Park, Pigeon Point Lighthouse, McNee Ranch State Park, Devils Slide hiking trail are all within 10-45 minutes drive, Santa Cruz and the Beach Boardwalk is a lovely 1 hour coastal drive. There is bus service (Sams Trans)on the coast and a bus stop behind the house on Highway 1. BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) is about 25 minute car drive and a nice way to get into SF. Biking around is a great way to avoid traffic on the weekends, with a bike rental place. (HMB Board Rental), nearby, which also rents wetsuits and surf boards. We have Taxi service, Lyft, Uber in addition to the bus. This is a apartment on the first floor of a two story home, there are no stairs involved. You will be accessing the space from the driveway in front to the backyard, with a gravel pathway. We may have a guest or two upstairs during your stay, in another private apartment. We have backyard chickens, which my caretaker comes by daily to feed. Wifi directions are located on the fireplace mantel!
